Advantages of exotic pairs.

I am not used to trading exotic currency pair, but some traders think that exotic pairs are more volatile and it is easier to make short time profits from trading exotic pairs.

Can someone list several exotic pairs? I don't have any idea about advantage of exotic pairs?

exotic pairs are like an adventure, you will never know what will happen next but if mastered it can be a life saver and even a jack pot :)

Hard for trade?. i think it's not exotic pairs,,,

A good example of exotic pair is USD/RUB. I trade it on Hotforex, spreads are wide but volatility... great potential for earning..

These are considered "Majors" :

 

EUR/USD Euro / US Dollar Euro Dollar

USD/JPY US Dollar / Japanese Yen Dollar Yen

GBP/USD Sterling Pound / Us Dollar Pound Dollar

USD/CHF US Dollar / Swiss Franc Dollar Swissy

USD/CAD US Dollar / Canadian Dollar Dollar Loonie

AUD/USD Australian Dollar / US Dollar Aussie Dollar

NZD/USD New Zealand Dollar / US Dollar Kiwi Dollar

 

All Majors contain "USD" as one currency.

Then "Minor" FX pairs are considered all crosses of FX pairs which make up Majors except the dollar, like

 

EUR/JPY, EUR/GBP, EUR/CAD, GBP/JPY, AUD/CAD...etc.

And finally "Exotics" are considered all other available pairs. If a pair does not contain both currencies from Major category it is considered "Exotic"

The price movement in these pairs is very frequent and people could make more money in these pairs if they trade in regularly.
