Common reasons why forex traders lose money

I would like to know the common reasons why forex traders lose money? Is it because they have a small capital or have a hard time making decisions?

1. No trading Edge. No defined method or system. Lack of rules or poorly defined criteria.

2. Poor Money management. not assessing risk & position size correctly. Trading positions too large for the account size. Not understanding margin & leverage.

3. Poor psychology. Lack of discipline, Trading on emotions, impulsive & reckless behaviour. Gambling.

 

All equally important, without having all 3 in place, it would be difficult to sustain trading for the longer term.
