I have a feeling that by observing how past cracks of Tradestation 9.x were made, I can extrapolate and recrack newer versions as long as I have the newest setup files. zerowaitstate Posted April 20, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 Hello zonpex: Do you happen to know the password for this one: TradeStation 9.1 (build 11680) +crack http://depositfiles.com/files/6ahklm8m7 I tried to convert the pass.txt file from unicode to many different languages like russian, chinese, arabic, etc and the one that most closely matched the unicode letters in the pass.txt file was russian. Then I tried to use those russian characters but the crack.rar file still refuses to open. The best conversion I came up with was: Внучка Деда Мороза. But obviously it didn't work. So far I have been able to test both versions: Tradestation 9.1 Base Update 1 11689 11-14-2011 and the Tradestation 9.0 Build 8968 using daily data and the only item that seemed to be missing is the Walk Forward Optimimzer. The Tradestation Walk Forward Optimizer started to appear in version 9.0 Build 8880 as stated on their website. Please take a look at the screenshots explanations I posted below: This is the about box stating the version along with a daily ASCII chart I loaded in the background. A simple strategy analysis was plotted into the chart and it had no problems interpreting and compiling the easylanguage strategy. http://i43.tinypic.com/25evjht.jpg Below is the missing Walk Forward Optimizer problem I encountered. The genetic optimizer did work well and was available. After the first installation which did well (screenshots I posted above), I proceeded to install it in other WinXP virtual machines and every time I tried to install it on a fresh virtual machine, it refused to run after updating it and applying the cracks. I haven't beeen able to make it run again on a fresh install. zerowaitstate Posted April 26, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) Update: After installing the Tradestation 9.1 above several times in my WinXP virtual machine I seem to have found the installation procedure that will make it work and keep it from not running and automatically shutting down. Here are the steps below, please follow it and I would be grateful if you can report back if the steps described below work for you: --------------------------------- This Tradestation 9.1 Base Update 1 11689 Does not appear to have the WFO (Walk Forward Optimization) module present. Eventhough tradestation.com website specifies that WFO started to be available since version 9.0 Build 8880. 1) Run Setup TradeStation 9.1 with.NET.exe to install, during install, if asked to install .NET, please do so; the software will try to automatically update itself to a newer version, you must STOP and cancel this update and do not let it finish. 2) Once "Setup TradeStation 9.1 with .NET.exe" is installed, run Tradestation, let it verify the studies and easylanguage codes, when the screen to log in appears, choose "Close" and shut down the software. 3) Double click or run Update_9.1_11689.msp to install build 8968, when the screen of the updater is shown, you have to choose the "Repair" option. 3) Once the update in step 2 is installed, start Tradestation without applying the crack yet. When the log in screen appears, choose "Close". DO NOT select "Work in Offline..." yet. 3) Now copy included files "client.dll", "WowRT.dll" and "misc.dat" located in \crack\ folder into C:\Program Files\TradeStation....\Program\ folder of tradestation. 4) Now you can run tradestion and select the "Work in Offline" mode once presented with the login screen.
