leeb77
This is one of the most interesting EA's I have seen. Very smooth equity curve and links to live results. It just went live today if any great person out there could educate/share would appreciate it :-)
abba
Fellow trader reccommended this saying he has verified the performance for past couple of months - which is not a long time for an EA, but it seems like a good one if it will hold up. Hope someone here can post a useable version.
Jay007
If I understand correctly, the possible algorithm of this EA is as follows, if price moves in a particular direction with given amount of pips in given amount of time, buy or sell, such types of EA are available free and in theory it looks good but in practice with re-quotes, slow server, slippage and internet connection also small Take Profit makes it difficult for retail trader to gain anything from this idea, I DONT want to disappoint you guys but be careful, if I AM CORRECT. Guys, you can check Forex Growth Bot, which also works with same,i hope, algorithm, it uses different settings for volatility calculations Edited March 28, 2012 by Jay007 rob59
rick1713006413
this is the email I received from Scott Wang at Forex Verfied: From Scott: I admit, I'm a little excited Hello Rick, It's not often I get excited about a new EA release. In fact, it's extremely rare. I'm in the business of testing EA's and most are disappointing (to say the least). It's even rarer for me to send an email about one pre-release. However, my good buddies at WallStreet-Forex (who created a fantastic system that I'm trading live right now) are just about to release a new EA: Volatility Factor http://www.forexverified.com/go/volatilityfactor I am extremely optimistic regarding Volatility Factor for the following reasons: The company behind it is rock solid, not scammers Their previous products did/do very well Their verified MyFXBook accounts show actual, live results, forward-tested since mid December Backtests and forward tests show similar good performance They're showing actual results and setting moderate expectations without hype or fluff The User Guide you receive after the purchase is absolutely incredible. - They explain - in detail - anticipated drawdowns and what to expect. - They explain - with screenshots - the general aspects of the systems and what to expect in various market conditions. - They explain - in detail - how to use moderate risk management. etc... http://www.forexverified.com/go/volatilityfactor It's not cheap ($299) but the legitimate strategies rarely are. Normally I would wait 60-90 days of demo testing before trading a strategy live, but I intend to make an exception with Volatility Factor. I may go live after 1-2 weeks of successful demo testing. This is because I actually believe the performance reports displayed on their website (which is rare!). Keep this link handy. Volatility Factor becomes available at 2:00am US Eastern Time, March 28th 2012. http://www.forexverified.com/go/volatilityfactor Good trading to you, -- Scott Wang Forex Verified http://www.forexverified.com
edmun1388
That site show me 60 days risk free , so after 60 days take own risk .
fxrookie
It's a kind of grid ea. Not very exciting. The algorithm is similar to Kangaroo EA. Well it's not so bad if you can stomach huge drawdowns and floating losses :). And i think you'll need to play for a long time to find good settings. fxrookie
Tradefx, you're absolutely right. Your statement is true for all EAs. Unfortunately, you can help with your comment to anyone. :))
