Any genius here to educated this one, to make allowed on Live-Account? Diesel 10 Posted December 9, 2011 Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 OK, so far so good. It pocketed eight $5 wins in a row with 5pip target and .10 position size. My big concern is what to set SL to??? I left it at 0 (this is just a demo acct) but if there is no internal emergency stop (uncertain) then sooner or later one will get away from it causing huge loss. That is the big concern for me. Use default setting (SL=0) - very risky, the EA can enter on high DD expecting the price to come back later.Check on H4 timeframe, seems to be less DD on certain pairs. I have little fear to go real with it yet :-S no experience with manual SL set. talking with other think this EA needs some optimization (change Ma period, etc.) to get less DD. Actually it maked 107 winner trades since 07.12. No loss, with three different pairs. There is a time frame that I believe should be employed much like Megadroid or Fapturbo to make this ea profitable. Even a TP of 30 and SL of 20 seemed interesting but a sequence of losses really kills this ea. Even when your ratio would be 50:50 you would be a winner and as we see the EA is winning and winning. A few loses would not bother at all. I checked it and it works, especially with EURUSD. The optimisation of SL gives me also 29. I tried with a broker with GMT+1 and a time of 22:00-24:00 If you don't set a stop loss the EA just "forgets" the position with a loss, very dangerous.
