I dont know if it was already an achieved goal, but today I finally succeded in making the whole combination work on windows7!!! this is a great achievement for me, as I was using an xp virtual machine to make it work...with a greate decrease in the overall performance!

I think files are available on this site, together with tardestation 8.7 (but I did not install it). If you cannot find I will provide mine (on the keygen of Owndata I got a virus alert...it is not required for ts2000i, but I dont want to put your data at risk).

 

In order to let the whole thing working, it is really simple: after the istallation, all the .EXE files should be set in compatibility mode with XP service pack 3 and run as administrator (right click on each file, access the compatibility tab and make your setting).

It is very important to do this BEFORE setting the Globalserver up to the DBC Subserver.

I attach the settings to be done in Forexite Quoteroom and GlobalServer to let it work:

does this also works with stocks and the e-signal datafeed?

quoteroom is a free sw, but you also need Globalserver which comes with Tradestation 2000i.

the link is: quoteroom sends data to globalserver who sends data to Tradestation/Aget

never tried, but sure it will work. just give a look on esignal site for instruction to connect esignal and globalserver. after that, aget will work

I have configured everything, symbols are connected, history updated, but no realtime ticks arriving from globalserver. maybe the version outdated?

:) ok... I am talking by myself... anyway, just for the records, I had a problem in the Quoteroom configuration. Now everything is ok, version Aget 1.2 seems working as expected, I dont know which are the differences against version 1.3... anyway...now all up and running!
