Diesel 10
What is the settings are you using? I am using forceTF = 60.. For timeframe lower that 60.. it will break very easily.. Which I do not like it. So please be careful of that. Also i not viewing any weak area. When it reaches the zone... u have to be careful.. cos it will either bounce up or continue to come down... That's y only trade reversal candle or M or W in that area. The indicator does not repaint.. Once the area is failed, it will disappear... Smile Chankl78 Hi Chank, congrats on your success! i like the logic and simplicity of your approach... 2 questions. do you consider the trend such as on a larger timeframe in deciding which entries to take? secondly, where do you place your stop loss? My guess would be a few ticks past the extreme of the box. Thanks, Diesel10 Edited May 31, 2011 by Diesel
JimJamBonks
While we're on the subject and in the hope that it might help others, this was my nicest example of a supply/demand trade today. You could see the possibility of the trade coming a mile off so I setup the orders and let it run its course. It was "only 45 pips" some might say, but I operate on account percentage and with a 15 pip risked for 1% capital that amounted to 3% gain. :) http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n534/JimJamBonks/31-05-2011USDJPYShort.jpg Sorry, I'd have posted the charted directly for viewing in here but it was too big.... Diesel 10
This is all so spread out with all the videos. Would be great if someone who is thoroughly familiar with the methodology could put together a set of rules with a few charts in a pdf. I would do so but I feel there is a lot of the nuances that I would miss... For someone who knows this cold, would probably take about 1/2hr to do and would be a great assistance to all the members here.
sherlock1713006318
Here you go... Sam's S&R lesson from XLT http://hotfile.com/dl/119249163/8cb11d8/Sam_Seiden_-_Identifying_High_Probability_Turning_Points.part1.rar.html http://hotfile.com/dl/119250906/d3b4ee1/Sam_Seiden_-_Identifying_High_Probability_Turning_Points.part2.rar.html http://hotfile.com/dl/119247445/0459c8a/Sam_Seiden_-_Identifying_High_Probability_Turning_Points.part3.rar.html Thank you very much. On the slides is written 'Week 1 Lessons'. So i assume there is a series of this (Week2, etc...). Any chance that this will eventually be uploaded, too? chankl78
Thanks to JimJamBonks and Chankl78Is:) You two are awesome! I see the pink boxes below and the green boxes above in the chart examples. Are we to assume that when a trade enters the pink box, we go long and when it hits the green box we go short? These are the supply/demand areas, I suppose. Is the probability enhancer (tool) shown here, as well? I'm sure there is more to it. I downloaded the advanced video Chankl78...thanks for pointing me to that. Does watching it explain what is going on in these chart examples? As you can tell, I'm trying to gain the same pips...60...one day. Sixty pips every day would be a dream come true! Please explain a bit more if you can...or you can PM me, too. So many many thanks! jbozman, yes. U r in the right direction. But please entered when there is reversal candles patterns. It do happens that it will cut thru zones easily. Also watch out for those zones (Usually pink & lighter or darker green colour) that had been attacked more than 2 times.. It has 95% chance that the zone cannot support anymore... jbozman... I only target 20pips per day.. Yesterday is lucky day for me.. wahahaha... Please view the videos and the webinars in 1st post.. Sam Seiden is good in explaining those. P.S.. I still yet to view that enhancer videos.. Will update when I seen it. Smile Chankl78

But most of the time when I do countertrend trade, it will be market closing already (I refering to London Close..) 2) U r right. But usually, it is 20pips SL for me.... But I do shift it to end of the box when i feel that it is needed for me to do so.. Smile Chankl78
chankl78
EU Sell http://i56.tinypic.com/20jo7s.jpg Just entered this trade around 30mins ago.. Good luck to me...
