SpacyTrader Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Many people are probably familiar with the fisher transform indi. Fisher M11 is a version that doesn't repaint and I just found a mod of this indi for marketscope 2.0 with a moving average as you can see in this picture: http://fxcodebase.com/code/download/file.php?id=1867&mode=view Some of the view is blocked but you can imagine the possibilities. The code is here if it's needed: http://fxcodebase.com/code/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1729 Anybody willing to modify the indi like that ? Quote

When I put it on my chart, there was no signal line like in your picture... ? Quote
SpacyTrader Posted April 7, 2011 Author Report Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Yup- it's the signal line that I wanted. Unless there's a way to add an EMA to the fisher indi from inside mt4 ? I think I saw some instructions on doing that but I didn't pay much attention at the time. I found these 2 indis- mods of solar wind which is based on fisher. They are close to what I wanted, maybe they even work better, especially the second one, who knows: http://www.forex-tsd.com/288560-post127.html Needs testing. Yeah- those 2 solar wind indis look like one needs to be added to the other like the ma is added to fisher m11. Now somebody needs to mention how that is done... In the case of the MA apparently you should select in the parameters tab apply to "previous indicator's data". Too bad I dont have that option available. Edited April 7, 2011 by SpacyTrader Quote
bluerider Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Thanks for the indi. When I put it on my chart, there was no signal line like in your picture... ? to put a moving average on the fisher indicator all I did was go to "indicators" drag the moving average on to the fisher indicator select which moving average you want sma,ema etc then in "apply to" select first indicator`s data then click ok http://i53.tinypic.com/30rskdj.png Quote
Antial Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 you need to choose the Moving Average from the Indicator list and NOT ! the costumized indicator list! then you have the apply to button! Quote
SpacyTrader Posted April 9, 2011 Author Report Posted April 9, 2011 Tks, that worked. Unfortunately the indicator doesn't seem to work as well as I thought even with the moving average. Quote
