Diesel 10 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 I want to create a 8hr chart for Metatrader4. The main reason is because then I can always be awake to check for signals when the bar changes (ie 12am, 8am, 4pm). Also, if possible, I want the time frame to be US est to match mine. Any ideas? Thanks. Quote
Freddie Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) Any time frame can be made from 2min upward. You need a ... indi, name will come to me or I will look into a renko chart. In your case you can use a 1H chart put the indi on, make the 'times' as 8 and minimise. Go to 'offline' chart for the pair and you will find an 8h chart marked ready for use. Or perhaps use a 4h and make it times 2. Back later with the indi name ... like 'period something'. Getting old, access to memory not up to much OK, remembered - 'period converter' a google should find it. Cannot just see it on my m/c Edited February 5, 2011 by Freddie minhtri 1 Quote

Diesel 10 Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Posted March 3, 2011 Thanks Guys. It worked! I like the 8hr chart because I can check it at midnight, 8am and 4pm and never miss a signal, unlike with 4hr or 1hr... minhtri 1 Quote
Diesel 10 Posted March 6, 2011 Author Report Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) One problem.... I believe that since this is a script, it will have to be reloaded EVERY time I restart the metatrader! Does anyone have this in an indicator form??? Edited March 6, 2011 by Diesel 10 Quote
