I want to create a 8hr chart for Metatrader4. The main reason is because then I can always be awake to check for signals when the bar changes (ie 12am, 8am, 4pm). Also, if possible, I want the time frame to be US est to match mine. Any ideas? Thanks.

Any time frame can be made from 2min upward. You need a ... indi, name will come to me or I will look into a renko chart.

In your case you can use a 1H chart put the indi on, make the 'times' as 8 and minimise. Go to 'offline' chart for the pair and you will find an 8h chart marked ready for use.

Or perhaps use a 4h and make it times 2.

Back later with the indi name ... like 'period something'. Getting old, access to memory not up to much

OK, remembered - 'period converter' a google should find it. Cannot just see it on my m/c

One problem.... I believe that since this is a script, it will have to be reloaded EVERY time I restart the metatrader! Does anyone have this in an indicator form??? Edited by Diesel 10
