But the learning curve is very steep for the subject. I would love to discuss and share my thoughts on the same. Currently I am working with Noxa indiacators, and have some doubts. I can share some procedures on how to develop a trading system based on Noxa. So far I am doing only theroy and do not use them for actual trading. In the future, once i am confident of a good trading system from Neuroshell, i will enter the market. And I have only 5.6Beta and no ver6. neurohunter Posted April 15, 2011 Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 My screenshot Combination between several tools are very delightful, here I have a screenshot how a trading strategy made by CH(Chaos Hunter). I put the trained net from CH into NSDT and display the output , signal and equity. I made the training period about 7000 bars and production(OOS) for the remaining (about 3000 bars). To confirm it I make a new trading strategy based on CH output (without optimization)..and you can see the OOS test result as the training result made in CH. What interests me more is Noxa indicators. They look promising. However, i do have a problem in it that the train bars. I read the literature many times, and the default of 10000 is not good. Then it goes into the future bars any case. So i put say, 2000 bars, but when going for optimization, it defaults to 10000 always. i dont know how to over come that. Any idea? Also, you may try to post your method how you arrive at the input selection, etc. Like a tutorial. Others will benefit much from that. I am user of noxa also, the problem is the indicator is set manually and will going bad if put on fully optimization in NSDT. I already request to developer Phillipe Lonjoux to make noxa become adaptive. You will get benefit with noxa as long as the cycle of market still not change..the problem is whenever market cycle change noxa indicator not change then need to be readjusted. Concerning my result, the OOS data test is not included during optimization (there is an option to do that otherwise the OOS data removed from the training file. neurohunter Posted April 15, 2011 Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 Yes all indicators are custom made: on the top is indicator based on trend prediction (EMA), second based on RSI prediction and bottom one is based on prediction for the next open. Since I have the problem for automatic data feed from MT4 to NSDT (sometime some rows are missing) and indicators value in MT4 are not exist in MT4 then I fully focus using MT4 indicator as input for my nets. I use trend predictor (neurotrend) to check the on going trend (see blue and red dot for confirmation), neurorsi for earlier entry, and the bottom one for identification of trend changes (peak and bottom) indicates a trend changes (almost typical like noxa Nei probably).
