Diesel 10
Use this thread to share interesting indicators (with a download link) plus screenshot if possible and comments on how to use. Here's one: Direction Congestion: Similar to a Parabolic stop and reverse, but it shows dots on BOTH sides of the market when in congestion! http://www.mediafire.com/?ccrlibuxzydn9ak nikwoof, vladv, joeytrader and 8 others
Diesel 10
Here is another interesting indicator called RANGE. If you put it on a one minute chart and set the indicator to 15, it will plot lines on the chart showing you the high and the low for the current 15m period. Keep in mind that until the 15min period ends, the lines can change; once the period ends, the lines are locked in place and won't change... Enjoy! http://www.mediafire.com/?o94owiq6of6d5h4 wakjoe, joeytrader, heisamit and 4 others

Diesel 10
Just came across these. Not sure if they have been shared but they seem pretty good. Put em on your chart together and see what you think. Cheers! Meg@trend line indicator http://www.mediafire.com/?4bkcmdgw67mqx4b Erg0dic CCl & Trigger indicator http://www.mediafire.com/?6ya3h4vsqg4g1sh (Note: until the bar closes, it's normal for the ergodic to sometimes flip back and forth from short to long to short etc so let the bar finish before making a trading decision!) tronss
Here Ya Go! http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w201/jtimpsonstamps/forex1.gif Very interesting indicator, how do you use the fxsniper´s ergodic CCI (cross, up or down...)? Diesel 10
Very interesting indicator, how do you use the fxsniper´s ergodic CCI (cross, up or down...)? The indicator itself tells you what to do. See screen shot that says "Long" next to indicator name? As mentioned before, this can change back and forth until the bar closes... tronss
Diesel 10
I have a favor to ask. Can someone please color code the erdonic cci indicator (link below)? If the fast line is above the slow line, make the fast line blue and the slow line light blue. If the fast line is below the slow line, make the fast line red and the slow line pink. This would greatly help in visually backtesting this indicator as sometimes it is not visually apparent whether a crossover has taken place. I think this indicator has great promise... Diesel 10
Mega Trend looks alot like nonlag ma, one of my favorite indicators. Thanks for share. Actually I now realize that Megatrend = FIP Line= 15 period Hull MA. Still an excellent indicator. I'm even more interested in the Erdotic CCI indi. Perhaps some kind soul can help me colorize it with blues up and reds down plus even add an optional popup&sound alert? Would be greatly appreciated! grisleback
Im using this customcandle indicator more and more. It's not very intrusive yet can give you a better view of the larger trend http://www.mediafire.com/?e5uacsopor0hl9n http://i54.tinypic.com/211j51c.gif Diesel 10

The candle is bearish at this point and it seems that the CCI is crossing down.

grisleback
I'm fearful these two indicators are repainters but checking them out. SHI Signal arrow & ABHA center timing signal AVG http://i51.tinypic.com/20h0g1d.gif Edit: Don't waste your time on either of these, both repaint too badly to be of any use Edited December 13, 2010 by grisleback

Diesel 10
Hi Diesel10, Please try this: http://www.4shared.com/file/aVwbqCO9/FX_Sniper_s_Ergodic_CCI_Trigge.html Put the two wav's in "sounds" folder in order to have the sound alerts. Thanks very much! The color works great! It's the weekend so I can't test the sound/alerts. I assume they are triggered at the moment the bar closes (and a cross has occurred). ⭐ izogrey
Thanks very much! The color works great! It's the weekend so I can't test the sound/alerts. I assume they are triggered at the moment the bar closes (and a cross has occurred). Yes, they are triggered as following ( bar 0 means current bar - the last one, bar 1 means the first bar before the current, bar 2 means the second bar before the current ) : - if bar 0 is the first bar which produce the cross ( in relation with bar 1 ), nothing is triggered, as it can repaint; - if bar 0 is already crossed, and the cross is produced by bar1 ( in relation with bar 2 ), a cross is triggered, as the cross is already locked by the closing of the bar 1 ( formerly bar 0 ). The trigger is launched only once, at the opening of bar 0 ( which is equivalent with closing of bar 1 - which locked the cross ). I hope I have been clear... :-) I managed to test it in Strategy Tester: I launched an EA ( any EA, even a dummy one ) with visual mode, I paused the test ( not stop, only pause ), I attached the indi to the test chart and I relaunched the test. The alerts were triggered. Diesel 10
