fabfive Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 Hey guys With the EA Boss modified Version 2 I get only a "waiting for quotes screen" and no trades happen. I set GMT Offset to 1 (Germany) and start hour 20 to end hour 23. (It is 20.26 now and nothing happened). With the EA BOSS.ex4 I get a different screen which says that it is now educated "^^". No trades so far either. I got both the BOSS.dll and the Boss Demo.dll in my libraries folder. Running on Alpari UK Demo / EURGBP / M5. Any clue? Alan yes we can improve results with the start time and end time and gmt offset by running an optimisation . my best result of ten year demo takes 10 k to 42 million but only eurgbp on 5 m tf. Piphore the sl is about 60 to 75 pips mostly.its internal and best not changed. Ok, I am using this one now on FXOpen Demo Account since it has no magic number I can not use it in combination with other Eas :/ Will let you know in 2 hours if it did any trades. I tried your Boss EA and demo dll is not working until I use dll posted by fx4_ever and now it's working... I also tried mod version with demo dll and it's working despite the screen says waiting for quotes... halcyonn do you know time interval for this Boss mod version? This is due to its poor stop loss and risk management techniques. Hopefully some experts and programmers in this forum can take this up and improve on this aspect of the EA. Thank you. Regards John Lui If you look back in history you will see that the worst performing pair is EUR/CHF and the second worst is GBP/CHF. When I put it on a live chart the smiley icon of the EA is displayed as normal but in the top left hand corner it says "please contact [email protected] is this normal? I do not have the bot running live but I guess halcyonn does. I run it on Alpari, FxOpen and AAAFx Demo Accounts right now. Seems like the best pair is: EURGBP with the smallest losses. Second is GBPCHF with the highest spread and last EURCHF seems to produce produces losses in the long run!
