Freddie
Knowledgable people, is there an indicator that will allow me to take a bar at say 10:00 (nevermind the real time; nevermind the TF). Take the midpoint of that bar and make a 25 pip range? The idea is to take a straddle that is of 25 pips Buy Stop at midpoint + 25; Sell stop at midpoint - 25 pips. I realise that I could do this manually but I want to use an automatic trade placer. I do have an indi that does much of it but the range can be as small as 5 pips and will often stop me out both ways quickly. Adding a buffer would increase the range when it is 25 already. I would be most grateful of your help.

freddy
Just bumping up to the top in the hopes that it gets noticed this time round. hi Freddie, I found that straddle Ea on FF, (hxxp://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=17993) post#2 it will allow to place orders at the precise time you want, but it calculates a buffer you choose over and under the price at that time. see the doc, it is mainly used for news trading, but as you can choose the time you can do it on any bar you want. Maybe a good coder could add for you what you ask: calculate the middle of the bar and add the buffer. You will see that this EA can manage lots of thing. At least, it is a start for your research. hope it helps Regards freddy fx1001 and Freddie
