chrisbenjy
Anyone know where MetaQuotes get their history data from for MT4? I ran a demo performance test of an EA for about a month and it made a loss of around 20%. However, I ran a backtest over the same month and it's claiming that my EA should be 50% up. The backtest quality is maximum for MetaQuotes data, 90%, and I did the backtest at a time when the variable spread was at its London session average maximum. Why such a big deviation. Do MetaQuotes get their data from a broker?
Ajata
I was also wandering what time zone do they use for their data, especially since it goes back like back to year 2000
johnjet
Does anyone know how to get the full data from Metaquotes history centre without the current data from the existing broker?
