It has higher stoploss, but most of the time, it close with profit. i am sure we'll hit SL once in a while, but equity curve shows it still looks good even with occasional SL. I am trading live with very small lots and so far, so good.

Not very long... about a month.

fx4_ever, i had hit SL(-50) in EURCHF 2 times in last three days...have you experienced the same. I am using EA-Boss though in Tadawulfx

I'm running the BOSS on eurgbp only and up about 35% for the month. No real losing trade so far...some B/E or near B/E

It's very high risk setting but paid out until now.

I didn't like the e/chf equity curve for 2010 and took e/gbp only

the spread for gbpchf is 7 pips...so no way I let a scalper run on it

My risk setting is 10%

10% means you type 10 on the risk? I am running on a 100 account I key on 5 but it fire 0.1 lot.

yep, 10 = 10%

the risk means that BOSS will take 10% of the free margin and calculate the lotsize

in your case, 5% of $100 = $5 margin will be used to open a trade

In case your leverage is 1:100 the trade could be opened with about 500 units or 0.005 lots in theory

If the minlot size is 0.01 the EA would take that number

If minlot size is 0.1...no choice, that's the number you have to deal with and that will blow your account with high probability.

 

edit: numbers are based on 1 lot = 100K

some brokers are using 1 lot = 10K

My account is 1:1000 leverage maybe that's the reason I think I better lower it to 1:500?

Ah.. I am not sure if they will allow US client. Sounds good though. especially trading Grid strategy.:)

Insta forex allows US clients, and 1:1000 leverage is only for accounts up to 1k usd, above max is 1:600. Used them in the past and it might be ok with EAs, but not manually trading on shorter time frames.

I got a +ve trade on EUR/CHF with traxxon

I personally like MA_RSI Scalper better than EA Kain EA. (either one of these EA's discussion doesn't belong here, but someone mentioned Kain EA above, so I am putting my 2 cents.. :)) - It's totally different EA, yet similar in scalping method.

Traxxon EA better than Boss EA. This supposed to be exact EA, but Traxxon runs without any issues for me. Boss EA has some errors when I run and sometime, it doesn't run on some broker for whatever reason. I can't see anything on log file to trouble shoot. This is the reason that i like Traxxon over Boss.

Past 2 days, Traxxon didn't open any trade for me. I think reason is either 1) no signal or 2) spread is too high. I set my max spread just 1 pips more than avg, so it may not open trade for that reason.
