I am trying to setup ESU0 with Zen-Fire --> Owndata2.7 --> Tradestation 8.6 The Owndata2.7 setup seems to work, I am picking up ticks with symbol ESU0. However, when I enter ZF:ESU0 as symbol for a chart analysis in Tradestation 8.6, it keeps telling me "Incorrect symbol" I have tried ESU0, ES /ES ZF:/ESU0, ZF:ESU0.CME ZF:/ES Am I missing a step? Someone has successfully connected. newbie0101 Posted July 28, 2011 Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 any help please? I am trying to use Zenfire data with tradestation 8.7. I can see quotes being received in QuoteManager 2.7 and when i open a chart in TS i can see in the status bar it is updating, but it is not plotting any bars. hopefully someone here has had success with this and could help me out. It is strange it has bars on chart but from July 12, I show connected in OwnData2.7 and like i mentioned the status bar is updating live bid,ask,volume so it is getting data but no current bars, just some bars from July 12, ending at 3:00pm Eastern. I appreciate your help, any other ideas are welcomed. I will continue tinkering with it in hopes to get it working, well got it working changed the settings in "quote manager" "edit symbol" changed expiration to September it had July now plotting realtime bars. Only thing is with no historical data from Zen-fire, must leave computer on 24/7 and hope for no outages not likely.
