do you test this ea?!?!?!?

What error do you get?

Posted

someone not able to spell correctly.

running a backtest and so far looks like one of the safer martingales i have seen with news filtering fully functional.

will post results when all done!

it skips time minute by minute through the filtered hours in the inputs,it checks with forex factory economic calendar to do this.

Fcalc indicator that is placed in indicators folder helps it do the job properly!

The reason is "safe" is because it has hardcoded dates in the DLL to skip when the EA would have crashed. Backtest is really deceiving. You can examine the DLL with PE Explorer..

Also when it does not skip.. check out this backtest screenshot. Trading 0.01 lots.. it went up to 16.69 lots!! Insane risk..

i quite see your point FxKnight sir,on my backtest from march 3rd it took account from 10 to 24 k but it also had a drawdown of 90 percent of the account at one time.

there is one input of risk 0.5 percent though which is used to reduce lot size which can perhaps bring the max lot lower in strong trending markets but the fact remains that a martingale is a stamp of death!

I have to say this to get it off my chest... What a great arrangement for fx-persia. This is the mastermind of marketing. Not only do they give this EA for free if you trade there - so they make money off spreads and commissions.. but in the end you end up giving them all your money because the EA that they gave you loses it all!!!!!!!! My mind is blown to pieces in awe!

Thank you fxknight.what a wonderful forum .Anything can find here. And another fake ea by FX_Persia.I was one of their customers. Don't trust them. most of their client's accounts was margin call in may 5,6,7 .And it's because of their risky martingale eas. even If you make money from their fake eas first you will margin call soon.Don't believe their backtest .Don't believe their forward test .They lie about anything .They open several accounts with different names and tell people : "look at our clients accounts" while all of accounts are theirs.I never forgive you because you waste my money with your fu**king ea

It's another one of those EAs that piles on new trades as price goes against it and keeps holding onto them until one day the price goes back into favor, which could take months or never. The open drawdown can stay or keep growing indefinitely.

Some of these types of EAs keep a fixed trade size for new trades that it piles on, others, like this Supper Avenger EA, increase the trade size, which is a lot riskier.
