anatomy88, I don´t know what you are doing wrong because here it works in my live and demo-accounts, in backtests and forward tests. Sorry, in order to help you , I should see your platform, look at the settings, look at the Experts-tab and Journal etc. Without that I cannot know what is causing your problems

I already posted twice but the forum does not allow my postings to be shown.

There is a message like "your posting has to be approved by a Mod".

 

I am sick of this nonsense .

If I remember correctly, it was not like this with the old forum-software.

 

I am giving up because this feature of "approving" my postings makes me angry.

Here you'll find EA with last corrections/options I've added. Basically related with hedge strategy, there are no new filter indicators included, as I could not get profitable backtests, or general rules to be applied. Anyway I am sharing it, in case you want to play around with some backtests, you may switch hedge on/off. In case you choose hedge, expiration time may be set on/off, and modification of SL, too.

If market place is too close to suggested entry, EA will look for an entry point adding the minimun distance required by broker, and it differs according to pair used.

For those who are new to this thread, indicator is required.

 

In case anyone gets good backtests, pls let us know, and we'll see how to go on with this EA.

I don´t use the surefire-progression anymore in my manual trading with the Executive.

I let the losing position hit SL and the hedge-order has a 1, 2 , 4 , 8 progression.

This is more safe and most of the times 1 or 2 progressions are enough and the position closes at TP.

 

I changed your new v5 accordingly.

Has anyone gotten any decent backtests on version V? Seems to me that it needs more work so getting feedback from people backtesting helps quite a bit.

Tests on H1 with hedge and without hedge : Loss of about 20% equity.

 

Tests on M15 : all profitable, about 20% profit , with hedge-strat 26% profit.

 

Tests on H4 : 3% profit without hedge , 5% profit with hedge-strat.

 

I did not expect this because I thought the Executive signals are more profitable on higher TFs.

In the FOREX EXECUTIVE, there is a bonus file with an indicator called iFractalEX in it. Has anyone used it? I tried it but doesn't seem to give out the signals on time. Does it need to be educated or compiled?

The iFractalEX-indicator works fine.

It doesn´t need education.

 

The arrows appear late because price has to move a certain limit to trigger the formula which calculates the last

fractal.

If the indicator "knew" it on the same candle or the next, it would be a fortuneteller

and we would be rich using it.

That is impossible because nobody knows where the price will move the next second.

CMIIW, if you put any link at your post, your message will wait approval from moderator.

So you should change the link a little bit like change a with @ or http with hxxp etc.
