Anyway, if some old trading stuff would be NOT WORKING under Windows 7, you could try the XP Mode module ( search GOOG ) which is available @Microsoft site, and runs as an add-on under Windows 7 PRO or ULTIMATE ( not working under the Home / Starter versions ).....

 

Then, you run this "Windows XP" like a normal application, and install Old software UNDER it....
