crushmy Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Re: Quantumrobot I left it running this week, and it took trades as scheduled. Made +47 pips. Nothing to get all that excited about, especially since it only trades once every nfp? Quote

Have you demo it and compare it to a backtest? check out the last couple of grids. it goes from going up nicely to being flat. the next move could be starting to lose, like the other EAs. run it previous to 2009 and you cop some nasty drawdowns. leonfoo Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Hi I've been using quantum pip on eurchf and it's have been quite profitable for last few weeks. but the only problem is it active trading for too long (4 hours). Most of time, i have to manually close trade when its loosing profits. as i look in to the codes at "int IsTradeTime()"; it's very difficult to understand where to narrow the trading period. can anyone provide guidance on the modification? apologize for my bad English.. leonfoo Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 seem like the trading period were controlled by the dll file ( and initially link to "gi_152"). but it doesn't seem difficult to modify it in order to narrow the trading period. currently the trading period is 3 hours. Quote
