I'm using MD Pro few weeks and it seems to be profitable. Big move after FED decision was really abnormal and MD system was not made for it. I think that you can use MD Pro because it is one of the best scalpers. I had one huge DD on Megadroid too 1.21 on EURUSD but only on my Interbank account on FXPro account not. It is strange.

HiRider is doing pretty well, but big loses like happened in Feb is not what traders like so much. I check graph and there was constant down trend and hit all SL. So maybe good exist strategy can solve this huge DD. But maybe percentage of successful trades can be rapidly reduced.

Personally, One Question for Birt - Which is the software you used to DLL Decompiling / Dis-ASsembly, Because I am quite serious in programming, So It would be really thankful..

Everyone, pay attention. The EAs take their "auto gmt" computation from a call they make on :

 

forex-robot-world-cup.com/time.php?

 

which returns the current GMT time.

 

If you block the EAs access to the original server by any host file tricks, make sure you add a time.php file in your webserver.

 

If you want to do it, simply add the following command in your time.php, it will return the current gmt time. That way you will never contact their server. I know that Fusion make those check in IRefreshMarket function (from the DLL). But it does not send any information about you, it only make a GET request as seen above.

Birt; I am looking for good reference books on coding that will put me on par with your coding skills; Do you have such reference?

 

If you know little or nothing about computer programming, the best advice is to learn programming logic through learning a structured high level language. Start with PASCAL, follow with C, then C++ Any teaching text will do.

All this will help with understanding MQL4 coding.

 

If you want to get down and dirty with reverse engineering, it would be a good idea to have a good working knowledge of ASM. There is an excellent text on this for download somewhere on this forum, just search ASM.

This will help with understanding low level DLL code.

 

Once you are done with that, you can head on to use the tools Birt has suggested.

kata, I was just by fortune sitting in front of my computer to finalize the settings for the night, when on a sudden a lot of positions were closed and I saw the spike in EURUSD. some of already opened scalp positions reached the tp others the sl. But I saw also, that new positions were opened in the wrong direction (as the scalpers usually do during the night) I switched off all eas and closed those positions. And then I sent the warning into this forum as I could imagine, that scalpers might create a an expensive night due to the high volatility.

This step of thee FED was not announced in advance and of course not in any calender. Things like these can happen.

Simply pulling the break-even, times SL, and other exit strategies from MD Pro and adding them to the HiRider code would probably be an easy and worthwhile endeavor. MD Pro rarley lets its trade actually reach SL (except yesterday-2/18/10 with that crazy volatility (for which I'm sure a volatility filter could probably be coded into MD or HiRider)).

 

Unfortunately, we do not know the full logic of the trading mechanism (because of the DLL). I don't like trading black/gray boxes.

When we have the full logic, and if it seems robust, then we can re-program it from scratch.

Chemie: more to the point, you had enough experience to know what was going on, whereas I was sitting wondering what was going on watching some demo trades, and forgot I had live EA's on the same markets that would probably be having problems. Had I had enough experience I saw the problem in enough time to at least have severely minimized my losses. Oh well, I live and learn. Particularly, I learn that Forex Factory's calendar is not as all knowing as I had previously thought!

 

Manganate: I haven't heard anyone use Pascal in years. I didn't think anyone even still knew what it was, or that it might still be in use! I learnt it at college and remember that at the time it had already been overtaken by C etc. It brings back fond memories to hear its name again!

errors to days Hirider opened around 30 trades today on Alpari demo

all are closed on profit 12 pips ,no open trades

I dont knoe why Volcano is not trading, I would like to see how it trades because it has go good profit loss ratio

It's unfortunate that such an expensive robot would have so many "Trojan" alarms attached to the dll files. "Artemis 6A8CF42D2CD0 (Trojan)" according to McAfee. I understand that many agree that this is a false alarm, but, why none of my other (200) robots give me this problem? :-?

 

 

How do we know that the orignial dlls aren't viruses?

Something, presumably a virus checker (I found Ad-aware running), erased the HR dll from my computer, includilng the brokerage account. I found the brokerage account shut down. I had to re-download the EA files. Anyone experiencing this particular problem? Presently showing a loss on one short trade as EURUSD has gone north.

Hi guys, I downloaded birt's files from sharebee and got a virus alert on my pc. I have downloaded many EAs from this forum and its the first time I found a virus here. Any of you got the same error on your scans ?

i think it is becouse some of thouse eas use candlebars to trade,and they are difrent for broker ,depend time when daily bar open etec....thats what i think.
