btw..you have to add .mq4 in the end of the expert name or it will not show in metatreder expert folder when backtesting...

just use default settings on EURGBP and EURCHF tf 5 and 15

I used the given settings, it is not good for past few months. Did some optimization could not get it profitable. I run it with spread 4. Maybe lower spreads can make this profitable. Any thoughts?

Good results with eurchfM15 :

multiplier =2

profit =10

loss=30

maxtrades=1

trailingstart=16

trailingstop=1

tailingstep=1

breakevengain=2

breakeven16

rest is defaut

 

need more investigations

horrible results using default and the changes above, blows my account in under a month :(

 

dunno if its the broker differences or what but your tests differ so much to mine JUINERTY2

 

maybe thats why your london results a re bad and mine are good, for the same reason you get good results with this and i get bad

 

anyway how did other people find the backtest?

 

i have it running on demo now to see what happens, i only backtested it for the last 3 months, if it cant handle that i am not interested in going back any further.

 

i dont see this performing well over this coming week

When I run backtests it gives me "order send error 130" and then Error occured:invalid stops. I am using alpari for backtest??

error 130 : better add normalizedouble(yourprice, digits()) for ordersend, orderclose, modify etc....

...happens on ECN or STP brokers, i think. The EA does not place suiting market orders without S/L or T/P. With dealing desk brokerages (Alpari UK in my case) it works fine.
