I don't think it requires a code or you can insert any 8 digit code. However, I cannot get it to trade on Alpari even with a valid receipt code when back testing.

That's right, it requires a code and back testing is not working.

According to the pdf file, they have disabled backtesting with the Forex Trend Scalper EA (see page 22).

the authors of the EA say they have disabled backtesting in the EA because backtesting gives inacurate results

All - just look at the results in the web site and see the huge drowdown that he had, the picture of the graph below the results is fake.

@VladimirM: backtest is disabled in the original EA too. I did not fix that.

 

@loulou69: place the FTS.dll in ...\experts\libraries\FTS.dll than you got no "error 126" :-bd

loulou, there´s NO EA inside! Just the registration tool that calculate your personal serial nr.

you have to send to the author before receiving the EA!

so nothing to educate. ;)
