adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Follow me on a journey of putting my faith in the one pair I have found to be consistent from an expert advisor standpoint. I'm running a basket of EAs on EURCHF. First few days are in the bag! rockhard.mt4live.com This is a live account hosted on FOREX.COM UK. Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket Update: I'm not looking to over leverage the account in a ALL or Nothing sort of manner.. Knowing the nature of the 2 EAs i'm using i'm fully confident that the settings applied are reasonable, that and the nature of EURCHF. Keep in mind major news releases and anything that could have a negative effect on the pairs is paid attention to. Thanks! Quote

Its good for scalping EA's because its ranging a lot. But "all or nothing" isn't the way to trade forex. Markets are unpredictable! If use high risk settings, over-lot etc, only one crazy night/day is enough to wipe your account. So think again. Good Luck! <):) Quote

Be careful and watchful of EURCHF, as bucket-shop brokers may have noticed the drift of scalping robots from EURGBP to EURCHF and may start their manipulations like delayed/invalid price feeds, freezing servers, requotes ...etc to kill their profitability....... :) Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket EUROCH's ATR isn't so far stretched in a HIGH to LOW range. I'm not worried I've done some research but I've also had a hard time finding an EA that ranges like EURCHF... It's subject to change obviously. Thanks let me know of anyone else's hard knocks..... ;) Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket Check out my larger account running a HUGE basket, I've got many pairs going here. http://adbtrader.mt4live.com/ Thanks! Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket Let's put it this way, i've been EA hunting for a long time and the only pair thats held up during htis period (over a few years) is EURCHF... Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket And to add to this, this isn't a basket of EAs where I care how many pips are generated, the sole focus is final profit. As you can see PIPS vs PROFIT doesn't really compute with my system... Thanks! Quote
thesecret Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket So what EAs u got there? Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket These are homemade EAs modeled after some martingale strategies mixed in with scalping. I'm testing here and showing you guys so you can maybe give me some insight if you see naything with trade placement that is off the wall! If we all can agree that it works I will share them and we can make a lot of money ;) Quote
clovelly Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket Check out my larger account running a HUGE basket, I've got many pairs going here. http://adbtrader.mt4live.com/ Thanks! At 20:19 17Sep, you had 9.38 lots on EC, with a equity of 10K. You must have great faith on the EA to use that risk. Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket And to add... I'm not looking to sell an EA so please leave those comments at bay! ;) Just looking to see if this whole basket setup works and I figured I'd let you all follow me on my trial. Thanks! Quote

Biggest I see is 4.96 lots which yes, is large but the SL is so small its worth the risk. adbtrader.mt4live.com rockhard.mt4live.com Correct me if I'm wrong... I just don't see it. Thanks! Quote
adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket And forgive me for spamming but I meant that If we see it works I can share with you all.. Let me be the guinea pig! Thanks Quote

adbtrader Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Re: EUROCHF Robot Basket Yes its high risk.. But the SL is never hit, always closes very early. That SL is just there for the brokers to be happy... ;) Quote
