ocley Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Hello everyone, I have been testing this indicator for two weeks and is very profitable in the time frame of 4 hours, if someone could make a ea, I appreciate it. The rules are: Buy when the white line is above the red line Sell when the red line is above the white line Take profit when crossing Stop Loss at about 50 pips Ded I leave a screen capture. pray624 1
Starting Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Re: Heiken Ashi Real indicator very profitable!!! Hello everyone, I have been testing this indicator for two weeks and is very profitable in the time frame of 4 hours, if someone could make a ea, I appreciate it. The rules are: Buy when the white line is above the red line Sell when the red line is above the white line Take profit when crossing Stop Loss at about 50 pips Ded I leave a screen capture. Mate, What were the pairs you tested it? Were your tests succesful more on some of the tested pairs? What was the period of your tests, I mean how indi reacts in different market (ranging vs. trending)? Considering it's H4 and based on moving averages it should better work when trend and on "technical" (trending) pairs like GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURUSD (to some extent) with normal daily range of 150-250 pips and more. Pls advocate this indi a bit and there are I believe a lot of talented guys who can be interested in constructing EA if it's worth doing.
et_phonehome_2 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Re: Heiken Ashi Real indicator very profitable!!! If a market trends, it will always be good. Have you tried it in a non-trending pair?
ocley Posted September 14, 2009 Author Report Posted September 14, 2009 Re: Heiken Ashi Real indicator very profitable!!! I teach in this screenshot with pairs with I work, I think those trends are better
ocley Posted September 14, 2009 Author Report Posted September 14, 2009 Re: Heiken Ashi Real indicator very profitable!!! Works well with any currency pair, but I guess better luck with those that are more susceptible.

hermes Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 ocley are you speaking about Gespenster indicator (Ghost)? You never posted a link to it. Or it is ordinary MT4 indicator? hermes
vx13 Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/3103/hareal.gif It's not bad. Some pretty good signals but there's also some choppy signals. It looks like it'd be an extremely reliable indicator if it were MTF and non-repainting as an MTF (it does not repaint on a single time frame but if made MTF it would repaint).
Diesel 10 Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 I like Heiken Ashi Smoothed better. Not nearly as many false signals.
vx13 Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Hey Diesel! Funny thing, the signals are very, very close to being the same I don't know what makes this one so "real". Maybe because it shows the raw MA-esque form of Heiken-Ashi. http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/3710/harealvssmooth.gif http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/1589/harealvssmooth2.gif
tobeeme Posted May 17, 2011 Report Posted May 17, 2011 The screen shot images look really good. Would like to know if it repaints though.
