If you using MDP bbr v07, there are a bug in the IsTradeTime function:

This looks much better than the "Advanced Droid Tactics" crap - that guy does some backtests with only the GMT offset variable changed (over mostly MetaQuotes junk data) and then tries to sell the information for 34.95 USD. His web site is full of affiliate links too, clearly trying to scrape in money in whatever way possible, the dickhead.

 

So in comparison, this fxharvest web site is far more useful and it's free. Now we can decompile and use the code in MegaDroid Pro and any other EAs.

I've finished adding the extras into MegadroidProXEv1.2... it is based on bbrain's unplugged v11, plus the XE additions and the fxharvest addons... it is quite a large release.

 

I will post up a "beta" version of it. It was a bit tricky to implement the ADT features, so rather than bless it for live use, I will post a beta and let you guys have a look at it and suggest improvements, or bug fixes.

I appreciate your sharing the wonderful work but when I enter indo-investasi between the http:// and the .com all in lower case it tells me

that is not the correct password. Would you check to see if it works for you?

Just wondering. For the account that you put up on myfxbook, did you leave everything on default besides the risk? Or did you change the start/end hours? Because the history shows that it opens trades 2-5 pm, which is 3 hours compared to the 21-23 hours on default.

That's actually a good question. It really depends I think if you are using Risk sharing or not.

If you are not risk sharing, you will be increasing your risk by allowing recovery mode.

 

In fact I ran one of my live accounts with both recovery mode and no risk sharing this month, and I had a rough month.

Two pairs both hit stop loss twice in a row, which caused a reduction in profits for the month. To be fair though, the broker I ran it on didn't allow microlots, so the risk of wipeout was much bigger. Had I not used recovery mode, I would have retained more profits.

 

Of course, recovery mode makes no sense when you are already using max lots! (one can always dream that we get to that point on a live account in our lifetimes)

I would suggest to turn off if you don't wan to risk your account. Even though you turn off the recovery mode, i believe MDPro still will generate outstanding profit to you. :D :-bd

As you can see there is a huge difference between them. I didn't get any requotes so it all goes to slippage, worse spreads and probably price manipulation (data filtering). I hoped I've finally found non manipulative broker but I guess the quest goes on. I'll stay with them for a month and then make a decision to stay or close the account. In a meanwhile I'll post my daily trading results ;)

Get a more reliable unzipping program. (like Winrar)

It's worked for me in testing and for lots of others.

 

Actually in last night's trading, the EURCHF went trendy again and I manually closed it.

The GBPUSD held out for a long time in drawdown but eventually came into profit before the European open.

 

Actually, with XE v1.2, I'd set the ForceClose default value to 6, rather than 8. Breakouts in the traded pairs usually happen much earlier than the 8am London open.

I still use Don's MegaDroidPro_v1_00ee2xFix version.

 

Yes I know spread is 1 pip higher on some pairs (mini vs. standard account). But look at eur/usd (spread is 1 pip higher); trade was opened and closed at the same time on demo and live account but there is 3 pip difference between opening prices:

I don't know why but datasheet on demo and live account has 2 pip spread difference to begin with. So plus +1 pip because of mini account and you get 3 pip difference. The problem is MD closes order at the same price on both accounts so you "loose" extra 2 pips live.
