icemaneu Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 Re: best indicator I don't think there is a "best" indicator as most, if not all indicators are laggers and a form of moving average in one way or another. If you put all the indicators side by side, you will see that most of them tell the same story. Hence, a simple moving average and stochastic will do for me. tigris Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 Re: best indicator May I suggest just eyeballing the Daily chart for the overall direction/trend. Move down to H4 or H1 to see the intermediate trends and M15 for the short term trend. As we all know, the best profits come from trading the strongest trends and avoiding range conditions.
