( EA ) Hidden SL & TP

Re: ( EA ) Hidden SL & TP

Thanks,

Can someone teach how to use this ea...? :">

Hide the TakeProfit and StopLoss levels to the broker. :ugeek:

The way to use this EA is, send the orders by hand or with your desired EA,

open a new chart, same symbol, same timeframe and attach "Hidden TPSL" EA,

set the same MagicNumber, the TP and SL levels and thats it.

Of course on the original EA, the one that triggers the orders you must set TP and SL levels equal as it is.

It's a useful thing, when you have a full code EA or indicator, to change the name and press compile.

Hope it help

Re: ( EA ) Hidden SL & TP

If you can hide the TakeProfit and StopLoss levels from the broker then how the broker is supposed to know how to execute your trade properly as requested?

The mental stop and takeprofit is of course another story which may be not recommended at all.

Broker do not execute your trade - you do that, manually or by EA. Hidden SL/TP really means that

a broker see your e.g. TP level much higher then he rally is.

Example: Your TP level is 40 pips profit and a broker see that - but an EA close your trade at the 30 pips.

Opposite way with SL, which is very useful cos the brokers use so called *stop loss hunter* spikes to

cut your trade.

Cheers :?:

Then this is like having a mental stop which may be dangerous.

I suppose that it is not really that you can HIDE it from the broker but in a kind of way believing that you can mislead the broker to make him believe that what he sees is true but not knowing that you are going to change your stop later on or immediately before the execution! Practically a broker is an instant automated trading platform carefully programmed in advance taking into account different circumstances. Unless you know the detail of the program itself it would be extremely difficult to come up with a plan to combat it against possible abuse.

I don't think that a reputable broker will go to hunt for individual stops. Although, it is recommended that not to put your stop at obvious places which the mass usually put which then may be predictable.

A broker is an agent who execute your trade for you as you put your order. If we could execute our trades on our own then why we needed a broker!

A broker is the one who in real term we are left with no choice other than to trust because we need them thus, it is worth knowing in advance who you are going to trust above others!
