Does it work well during ranging/choppy periods or does it get fooled and give many false entry and exit signals?

Indicators that do well in trending markets normally don't do well in range bound market coz of the optimization process.. nonetheless, it does help to understand the market stage (ie accumulation, markup/down, etc) and then apply the suitable indicators type accordingly... cheers! :)

It has filters and in overall seems to work OK. What I've noticed however is that it works better during London and US markets, but I only tried it for a week so far

decisionbar indicator on the price chart is actually the clone of the compassfx synergy indicators call "Synergy_DSR.ex4"

hi all,

 

here is a link to the decisionbar strategy indicators coded for esignal. this is an old version from 2006/7 but it works just fine. unfortunately its only the pivot lines and buy/sell arrows and i dont have the manual anymore but it is quite straight forward - buy green arrow, sell red. - no repaints!!!

just a thought - if this CAN be converted to mt4 could sound and email alerts be added whenever buy or sell arrows are placed on the charts.
