Two trades booth loosers:

1. Short EURUSD:-26pips

2 Long EURUSD: -20pips

guys, do not understand what u mean by system stucks with system, i am running it on my system which is an Intel I7, how about u guys i do not seem to have any problem, maybe when i start loading more indicators, when i click thru the charts, it may lag a little, is that what u are facing guys. I feel after going through the system, there are really a lot of choppy signals,

Yes today were many false signals with EURUSD i tooked two trades in the sideway market and lost.

 

If i had a view on GBPUSD and tooked the short trade it would get about +80 pips

Although i'm no authority on forex and i'm still "trying" to learn.., the FDM has too many indicators that prevent us from seeing the price action and the price of the past so as to make any calculated decisions.

Just wanna say i backtested this sytem just to look at but if you trade it with the major trend it is good

im going to be trading it on the asian - EJ, UJ and AU.

ill post my results.

 

dead investor - bad luck!. can i suggest you are trading againsed the trend.

take a look at the GU 4hr or daily chart. you can see a strong bulltrend followed by a retracement. this may be a correction or a new bear trend, but while its going down (your ma's show this) were in a down trend. the trend is your friend.

As far as what I've experience, Asian session doesn't work out too well for me. Once in a while, I was able to ride the trend that started during the Asian session, but most of the time, UK - US session works out the best.

while i agree the UK/NY is a much better session to trade, i just cant do it.

however, just look at the AU, UJ, this week, great trades. the EJ is ranging -so no good either session

I start looking around late Asian session going into UK. if I found the set up, I put order in and stay in until it close. Then, I will not look for another one during UK session. I will consider it for UK session's trading. Again, I will look for one more time late UK session hour going into US. Most likely, I will see setup near or slightly after US news. If it looks good, I will take the trade. I always look for S/R area (my target) from where setup is happening. If it is too close, I will consider that doesn't have the room to move, so I will skip that trade. My experience, it usually reach S/R and reverse. So, I rather not take the chance.

When I load forex day monster 1 hour chart in IBFX and FxPro the indicators are different. At FxPro I see that some of the green bars are red in IBFX. Anybody knows why? Edited August 20, 2010 by zktier

this is a computer crasher system! I used on 3 diff PC's all crashed afther loading the system!!! Anyone know wich Indicator use all the CPU resource? Would like to try the system without it.

Thanks wanrayman, fx4_ever, detrader and others for sharing and giving your thoughts on this system. I was wondering how are you guys doing as we approach the end of this year with this system. Your inputs are appreciated.

 

Also fx4_ever and others that have issues with the CPU with the template. As mentioned somewhere..Go to your MT4 Tool->Options->Chart and change the number of bars and in charts history parameters of both to 2000 and restart the MT4, it works well. I can open up to 4 charts without any issues on a single MT4.

Yeah, it's still going strong and almost everyday, making pips :)

My PC can't handle too many of FDM templates, so I ended up only putting 1 pair (gbpusd) on the chart and the other pairs on separate PC for just scanning purpose. But, gbpusd alone makes consistant profit, so I am ok with it. FDM S/R indicator is pretty heavy on PC, but that is what helps me to exit my trade, so I am using it.

No, I haven't change any rules. This isn't the EA, so I can only trade when I catch the move while I am awake. I am in the US and I tried really hard (lol) to stay awake at least into opening of UK. If I miss it, I try to catch the signal in US session after the news. Overall, I get the at least 1 signal. If it hit my stop, I go in again at new signal and more than 90%+, I will least get BE or ended up with profit on those days. This is not a perfect system, but it catches momentum very well. With cc indicator that I use, entry is very good. I wish this can be made into an EA. That would be awesome! (just wishful thinking :))

Nice to hear that you get profits with this system ;-)

 

I ended up with an margin call using FDM but that doesnßt mean that it doesn´t produce profit for you jtrader. Maybe you have an other Moneymanagement or Riskmanagemt that gives you profit. One problem with FDM for me was that i was away in the London and NEW York session ( School) so i couldn´t trade

 

I asked wanrayman if he is using it and he answered no because he change the settings and indicators so often till it wasn´t FDM anyomore xD

 

Now i trade with the James16 method on Daily and weekly charts i like the simplicity and confortable way to trade
