Three T of Traders Success: the 3rd Prize Winner of Asian Forex Championship Shares his Trading Secrets

Asian Forex Championship appeared to be the most outstanding forex-contest, launched by FXOpen. Hundreds of traders from 53 Asian countries have participated in it driven by the desire to win.

Three strongest participants were awarded the main prizes i.e., all of them received PAMM ECN accounts registered with FXOpen along with good financial bonuses.

Could you please tell us a few words about yourself?

My name is Sensenati. I am 30 years old and I am married. I am from Jordan, I live in Tabrboor city. I work in the Interior Ministry of Jordan.

Could you please describe your way in Forex?

Two years ago one of my friends told me about his experience of Forex trading. It seemed interesting to me and decided to join some Forex courses here in Jordan. I also took private lessons of Forex trading.

Do you trade with real money? Are you successful in it?

I am just about to start trading in a real FXOpen account! Thanks to the contest Ive got this opportunity though, I have already tried real trading with other brokers.

What is trading for you: your main source of income or just nice pastime, which provides you with some additional money?

Forex-trading is a good addition to my full-time job.

How did you learn about ForexCup forex-contests?

I have come across the mentioning of ForexCup in some online ads and immediately decided to try.

What in your opinion are the advantages and disadvantages of ForexCup competitions? What would you change in the project? Do you have any suggestions?

What I like about ForexCup most is that it provides a trader with everything that is needed i.e., its easy to register for a contest; all competitions are well organized while trading terms are favorable and attractive.

As for the weak points, I would mention a fixed leverage, the necessity to register at FXOpen forum and the restriction of no more than 5 positions at a time thats what I think worth changing.

This Championship was one of the biggest ForexCup events. What made you join this competition?

I had a strong desire to participate in the contest thats how I decided to join the Championship.

We know that you have already participated in 1 contest before the Championship what encourages you to try again?

Some time ago I tried forex-contests organized by other broker. Thats why I decided to join I had enough confidence in myself.

Were you afraid of the competition scale? Did you follow the results of your competitors?

At first I didnt follow the results of other participants. But when I smelled the spirit of competition in the air I started analyzing the behavior of other traders.

How did you make your trading decisions? Were they informed, risk averse or did your actively pursue risk?

Most of my trading decisions were carefully thought over while based on technical analysis, news and indicators. But I also took up risk and I liked it.

Did you dream about the victory or you were sure that you would win?

In the beginning of the contest I was dreaming about prizes and bonuses. But I didnt dare to think of such a high place.

According to the contest statistics, you have made 25 trades, of which a large percentage belongs to JPY. Is it your favorite trading instrument? How did you choose it? What other instruments do you prefer trading?

I have settled on JPY pairs as they are usually more volatile than others. As for my regular trading habits, I prefer gold.

All your trades were profitable. We wonder if it has taken you long to work out a profitable strategy? What is it based on?

My trading strategy is based on indicators, news trading and technical analysis. Actually, I am still working on its improvement.

What did you feel at the end of the contest after your leadership had been proved?

I was happy about it. As for me, it was unusual experience. Most of my ambitious expectations came true.

You were awarded with a PAMM ECN account with a healthy deposit are you satisfied with this method of reward or would you prefer prize money only?

I am glad to become a PAMM ECN account Manager, because I have never tried ECN trading before. I hope I will be successful in it.

Do you have any plans for how you will manage your PAMM ECN account?

I want to try not only managing, but also investing in a PAMM. And I will also offer my family and friends to join me.

Best FXOpen Forum Trader - Autumn 2013!

FXOpen holds another competition on demo accounts. The event starts on October 21 and will last for 4 trading weeks until November 15.

The rules of the contest "Best FXOpen Forum Trader":

1. All registered forum users, who have made at least 30 posts, may participate in the contest.

2. Registration is available by password, provided after moderation.

3. The initial deposit amounts to $ 5000, and the leverage is 1:100.

4. There are 28 currency pairs available for trading.

5. The maximum trading volume is 1 lot.

6. The maximum number of orders is equal to 5 (including pending orders).

7. The minimum number of trades in the competition is 5 trades, while the minimum trading volume in the competition - 5 lots.

NEW! 8. Each participant must leave posts in his own thread on the Forum.

His thread will be situated in the appropriate section ("Top Trader" section for English-speaking participants, the whole list check at the end). Participant is required to describe every trade he makes in the competition account. If this term is violated, the participant will be disqualified and deprived of his prize. All trades must be described within 36 hours after their opening. The maximum number of the trades described must not exceed 5 trades per post.

All the participants are encouraged not only to indicate the parameters of their trades (like currency pair, lot size, Buy/Sell and so on), but to reason their trading behavior, make some forecasts and share plans for their future trading activity. It would be perfect if you support your description with screen shots or similar schemes so that other traders could understand you better.

9. Traders, who have complied with the previous paragraph (p.8), but failed to become the top competitors, will be awarded with a consolation prize (bonus): the profit made by the end of the competition * 0.01 (max $250).

10. All orders must be closed by the end of the competition.

11. The prize for winning the contest is added to the real account at FXOpen and can be withdrawn any time; no additional conditions are required.

12. Minimum number of participants totals 10. Advisors are prohibited! Scripts are allowed!

The participant with the highest balance in the account by the end of the contest will become THE WINNER.

The total amount of bonuses equals $800!

For example, the trader makes $ 5000. It means that $ 50 will be credited to his account. However, there are some restrictions:

- A trader’s bonus amount can’t exceed $ 250;

- The bonus can be withdrawn via any available payment system in 30 calendar days after being added to the account (not earlier). What is more, a trader must complete 20 trades of at least 10 minutes’ long.

It should be noted that the total amount of the competition bonuses must not exceed $ 800. In case of exceeding the budget, the amount of the bonuses will be reduced in proportion by the difference between the amount of all bonuses and the budget.

For example, if the amount of traders’ bonuses totals $ 1 500, the amount of bonuses paid to these traders must be reduced by $250 ($1 500 - $ 1250 = $250).

The formula for calculating bonuses:

Bonus = (1% of profit) * budget / actual budget,

where

Profit is the actual profit made by the trader;

Budget is equal to $ 800 in this case;

Actual budget is equal to the sum of the actual budget, for example, $ 1 500.

The order of registration in the competition:

Each trader must apply for registration in the forum thread with contest description in his language (Here for English-speaking participants). After being moderated, he gets the password, registers in the contest and publishes the account number in the relative forum thread. Please, do not send your password to any third party, since the list of participants will be checked again prior to the beginning of the contest.

Determination of the winner

The close price for the currency pair will be taken from FXOpen trading terminal after the closing of trades on Friday by Bid price.

Rules of the competition Guess the exchange rate

1. You have to add your forum’s nickname to your bet (for example, nickname – your bet);

2. Spreads between participants’ beds should be no less than 5 points. For example, if there has been already made a bet for 1.3100, all other participants should choose variants not closer than 1.3095 or 1.3105;

3. You can’t repeat someone else’s rate;

4. Each participant are able to make only one prediction;

5. You are not able to change or delete your prediction;

6. If your bet has been declined, you can leave ONE new bet which totally comply with the rules. Please, be attentive - just one bet from one user can be in the list of accepted rates

All the prediction, which do not comply with previous paragraphs, will be deleted.

The terms of withdrawal of the prize

1. If you want to withdraw your prize, you have to make at least 5 deals of any lot;

2. Each trade should be with profit or loss (+-) 4 points;

3. Each deal should be opened for at least 10 minutes.

Free Weekly Competitions Back Again! Welcome to Profitable WeeK!

The last few weeks at ForexCup have been dedicated to a new format of paid weekly contests – Scalping Virtuoso.
