morgb Posted February 9, 2010 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 ^:)^ looking for some opinions on this topic So we have scheduled new's release every day in the forex market, usually divided into high, medium and low priority events (including major holidays). Here's my question, since day one i've heard you should never trade before big news etc, give some days a miss, including holidays. Always make sure if you have EA's running to disbale them during release by a set amount time i.e 1 hour before /after. To be honest ive never really grasped this concept, so what do you do ? Whats your rules relating to news (high, medium, low and holidays etc) ? Do you trade regardless?
