Would someone help me see the places where this indicator has repainted in the past.

how do we know where it has repainted on chart past history.

one of the fast way to check the indicator repainting or not is to place the indicator on 1M chart and observe for some time

I've created a dummy EA which can be run in Strategy Tester (View -> Strategy Tester from the main MT4 menu). You need to run this in visual mode (turn up the visual speed slider as far as it will go) and when the visual mode chart is created, you attach the Swing_ZZ indicator as normal to that chart, you can now see Swing_ZZ painting :)

Hi indoshare,

There's nothing in the dummy EA. It just allows you to run a backtest through strategy tester.

When the backtest is running, the EA does nothing, however candles will be created going forward in time from the start date of your test.

When you have Visual Mode ticked and the test is running, a chart will be created with a suffix (Visual), you need to attach (exactly as you attach indicators to a normal chart) what ever indicator you want to watch to this chart.
