I generally use a 35pip trailing stop. Good way to maximize profit

I hate it in times of political instability when comments by politicians can cause big price spikes. During the Greek debt crisis this situation happened all the time. Very annoying

Trading the news can be quite risky but there can be big rewards when the price moves 50 pips in a couple of seconds. So difficult to get a good broker though (hence the thread). I have used HotForex around news time with moderate success

Consistent profit is tough. I doubt there are many people on this forum who have achieved that. But if it was easy I guess everyone would do it

Trading can be addictive which I guess a form of fun! There are definitely peaks and troughs with trading. When you make money you feel like a pro, when you lose, you wonder if your wasting your time :(

Most brokers allow you to have multiple accounts (up to a limit) but they all need to be under the same name and details. Don't try to open one with another name!

I can see the benefits of demo and live accounts. People don't treat 'demo money' the same way they would their own money. But people often freak out when it's real cash on the table and lose all their money. But even if people move onto a real account fairly soon they often lose all their money through poor money management! I think everyone should learn money management before the even consider Forex trading and strategies etc.

If you want to trade for a Bank then they will train you, there is no need to go to a trading school. If you want to trade for yourself then all the information is on this forum or on the webs somewhere most of the "trading schools" are very expensive and just tell you stuff that you can find for free online
