In time base your symbols must be formatted like this in their names :
 
Symbol#Exchange#currency#TYPE
 
E.G :
 
AAPL#SMART#USD#STK
 
OR
 
EUR#IDEALPRO#USD#CASH
 
Found this by decompiling the ib connector :
