True and mostly on historical charts. He stated few times that it maybe challenging real time :)

Try extracting with 7-Zip. Sometimes that works, not sure why.

Yes AscTrend is the brand name for addons ( such as NT) while AbleTrend is the standalone software.

I remember once reading a post stating that AcmeTrend1 and AcmeTrend2 are exactly the same. Also, I have noticed in the past the AscTrend claim that

never changed their algorithm. So any new versions should be only cosmetic or new data vendors.

I looked for AcmeTrend1 and 2 and did not find them, sorry.

Or use 7-Zip. It worked for me.

Curve fitting is a problem with all such software. I have wasted hundreds of hours with little results.

 

I know it never works. It looks so good on "historical charts" :) and fills are perfect for the demo account.

sorry I had purchased mine two years ago when they had a special deal, and will only work on my system. There should be similar ones on MT4 for free.

Sorry never tried stocks, but I would think if you use ETF, you would be fine. There news risk in stocks that I never liked. I use NeoHarmonics indicator addon to NT.

I like forex since you can trade small if needed and there is tons of liquidity to trade big.

I think you are getting billed additional cost for doing this. Check your statement. They open it and if you use it, you pay.

If you need good live data you have to pay nowadays. Especially for the Indices. FXCM is very good for Forex and still free, but may go out anytime in the near future.

IB is also good ( about $10/month). I like AMP better. But data fees is "cost of doing business", just pay it and move on. If you cannot afford to pay for data, you should not be trading.

You really should not post this. CandyMan had been a great help to this community. Not just me, many others as well. You did not follow the rules. He has no interest in the software and he was trying to help. If you really needed his help and not the other way around, then give him what he wants. Otherwise, feel free to purchase and contact the vendor for support. Most of us really see him and would like to keep him as a friend.

Yes I think so. If you had an old account you can stay with it, but all new must to with NT. This may have changed recently.

The only option nowadays is only EOD. Free data is almost gone, unfortunately!

The biggest issue with Renko bars is that they look much better on historical charts than when you watch them live.

I don't think they offer that option anymore. Now that NT is also a broker.

It's funny even on the main page webinar. The vendor starts with the most recent day and decides that it's not a good day ( an inside day), then moves to another day ( nice trending day) with plenty of good signals and starts his presentation. On a trending day I can just use the 10EMA and do well!
