Same problem here with that TOM_smcci indicator. Noticed it didn't even attempt to import.No duplicate file names or compilation errors.Says the original import archive lacks a missing file. Cashman can you help us out before you split for Florida?

This is what I get when I copy the TOM_smcci.dll to the Custom dir. No errors or problems with the Import function or the Compile.
 
I can live without that indicator.

It's almost a whole class on the mechanics of intraday pivot point trading.Again Chris explains very clearly about the best timeframes, the TOMbars2 hybrid bartype and what the optimum bricksize and lookback size to use, and also about the minor pivot diamonds and major pivot arrow setups.You need to understand the proper mechanics of these possible pivot entries, and the differences between primary and secondary pivot entries.Secondary = diamonds and Primary =arrows

Yes, I'm still trading Sterling/Yen :) I have gone the way of naked chart trading, but I barely break even at the end of the month. I so wish, that there was some indicator to help with the "confirmation" and maybe reduce the losing trades even by just 1%!! ;)
 
You know something, there are only a handful of individuals here that are so unselfish with their time and knowledge, that make coming back to II, feel like coming back home!! YOU Mr. Cash, are one of them!!!

Was watching factra in real time-and as someone said before- waste of time, its one bar behind navi for signaling.
The problem with all these called indicators is that they paint the signals back to the tops and bottoms giving the illusion of amazing signals while in reality they are 3 or 4 bars delayed.
So dont bother with this one and lets continue the search for the perfect one that will make us millions ...

I ran the strategy for an entire month and the results were mostly loss for ES and CL (I didn't try any other instrument.) I only experiment with diff RS time frame (4-1,8-1,12-1,24-1.) The winners only happens when there is a strong trend. On side-way market, robot trades left and right and loss big.
 
My settings (if any cares) were
1. enter at market price on the close of the confirmed reversal bar (or whatever that price may be when the reverse occurred)
2. target is 6ticks for ES, 10tick for CS (these were calculated by looking at previous trend moves and find their min move before a reversal. I know... not very scientific.)
3. stop is based on the height of the RS bar * 2 (to give price room to breathe and also (from my observation) it is how the reversal bar is calculated)
4. no other settings touched as I didn't have time to try
 
My risk is 1:2 (win:loss) at a minimum so you can see why its mostly loss. I did experiment with setting a limit order negative offset to the close of the reversal bar (to max profit and min loss) but most of the time price never came back once it took off. The hardest thing about trying out other settings is the robot needs to execute at runtime to confirm your settings. Thus the main reason for #4 above. And no, do not run backtest as they are NOT accurate even with setting the slippage value.

However, I'm also looking at PTS (point trading signal, I think) strategy and GC did pretty good at runtime. Made like $2.5k net for 2 weeks and then it stopped trading for some reason.
