    thanks =D>

  2. I like the facetious remarks! ;)

lol...no, no expert- just a regular guy trying to make living using a different technique than most people! If it doesn't work for me, I wouldn't keep using it for the last 10 years, right? On that note, NOTHING is 100% foul proof. It's just that I take my chance with what I know and can do.

Of course, here's my first time trying to forecast NIFTY-NSE. It might or might not work (50/50) just like other materials. ;)

23-09-2019 was the turning point .

in the forecast we need to check only for turning points alone but not the length of move am i right

  3. According to Tom Alexander (if I am not mistaken), Dalton just jumped on the market profile bandwagon when it was released to the public by Steidlmeyer back then, then he came up with all those jargons and types of days and etc... Created a course, then that quickly became some kind of magical stuff. It was not different from today when there is some new stuff and then people try to profit on it and sell courses, because the majority of players are losers, they are always seeking for the "new thing" or magical indicator or chart that will give them profits. At that time there were a lot of people specializing in market profile, and guess what, no one made money, they found very difficult to use market profile as a trading system. Well at least this is the tale that Tom Alexander tells in that course of his (if I remember correctly). Even Steidlmeyer don´t use market profile, I think he ditched a long time ago.

Does it mean it is useless? Of course not, I like checking the TPO charts. I like to see where value is developing, in which direction it is moving, I like to merge profiles, etc, check the POC if its migrating higher or lower, this gives me some extra info about the market. But I am not a market profile trader. I use it to give me a bird´s eye view of the market, I like to see the accumulation zones, the unfair zones. This helps in your trading, but I don´t use it as a trading system or signal generator. This is profile traders stuff, they have the TPO then they have the volume profile at the same time, all that gazillion lines of value area high, low, poc, standard deviations, etc, etc... And they use that to trade as if they were magical levels. They memorize all types of days and try to guess which day will be and think this affects how the next day is gonna behave, which is bollocks.

i totally agree with it . i too tried in early days and found it useless as types of days and other stuff didn't provide any edge while trading . now i am checking value areas and merging profiles to get a view of market that's it

  4. What do you think guys, was the forecast any good? When I compare the forecast with what happened, looks like the

high of 19-8-19 occurred 1 day earlier

low of 25-8-19 occurred 2-3 days earlier

and we are supposed to enter a slight uptrend till 7-9-19 and oscillate till 17-9 and then really take off.

I actually DID NOT trade any of the turns till now.

we can perform option trades based on turns

    debit spreads

  5. during Yearly stages of my trading i subscribed to his course and service . his predictions are good but hard to trade for day trading .

theirs another elliot wave practitioner Rohit Srivastav his web page id : IndiaCharts . i too subscribe to his analysis . he was a fund manager at share khan in past . u can follow him too for learning

as of my opinion elliot can be applied for swing trading

for day trading it can be appiled to know the market type & trade according to the price action levels

note : i am not promoting anyone

  6. I believe the forecast was a failure with QSpectrum as on today. Is there anyone who concur with me. Are there any improvements/modifications which I can incorporate?

just following you brother . can we try forecast for intraday movements rather than long term

  7. Auto wave tools are not good enough (those I tried till, e.g. motive wave, MTP, adv get, Alpha Omega) , they break ew rules

yes i agree . we should adjust the waves where it broke the rules and it would be easy rather then plotting by us manually . only human eye can catch wave cycles

  8. EWT best thing in the trading world as per my experience, and yes it can give turning points... will try n post some of my analysis of few scrips, in a new thread..

its a tedious work to plot waves for every chart . so its better to try some auto tool and then u can manually check the wave count and change count if needed

  9. Traderin,

This is Nifty spot prices only and not on Futures? If you have projections generated for nifty spot and future, post the pics so we can compare.

    i didn't have the projections generated .

said so because spot doesn't have premium in it . so more accurate than futures

i am trying it to get . if done definitely post them
