  1. Wanderer...

Are you using DevMrktProfile for your value areas? If not, which one?

Yes it is the DevMrktProfile. My chart is different than the standard chart. I modified my 24x7 session template to start at 6pm EST DST New York. That is 7am Hong Kong time. The standard setup uses a session template that starts at 12 noon. Right in the middle of my trading day. So I moved it to start when the CL opens at the exchange.

Will be posting a package with everything in it.

    W.

  2. I have mine set to "Al; Dots: True". I just set it like that cause I read it somewhere on the other thread.

Those are pretty much the rules. Azimyt, Wanderer, or Oil-George correct me if I'm wrong.

I like this system cause I like to take retracement trades, not too crazy about breakout trades. Fits my style.

On another tip I'm using acme profile on another chart with today's value just to verify that my lines on the 3 Sym Renko chart are correct. Also, the way Wanderer wanting to trade 24 hours I don't know if that will work because the value lines that are generated from the start of new day not of the session. So there may be sometimes when value lines will be super close together.

It is a matter of preference. If you set it to False you will get Dots that are with the trend as defined by the Black line. Mine is set to False because I only want to trade with the trend. There is also another trend indicator which is the 20 and 50 SMA lines. But that is another story.

    Good trading, W.

  3. Casting aspersions is not welcome in my thread. If you are going to call into questions someone's integrity, it is fair that you at least provide a quote for what you are saying.

Otherwise it is just gossip. And that is for old ladies and sewing circles. Not trading professionals.

    Good trading, w.

  4. I get the concept behind the #3, but on a lot of days a see these false break outs of value area like today around 10:20cst.

rhv, what version of jaysignal are you using? On the short trade you posted, I got an early arrow at 12:05(no arrow at 12:08) and a stop out. I'm runing V6 with a 5.5 multi.

Make sure you session template is 24x7. I made a new template which is still 24x7, but begins and ends at 7am Hong Kong time( 13 hours ahead EST (daylight savings time DST NewYork). Otherwise the DevMrktProfile restarts its calculations at 12 noon. Right in the middle of my trading day.

This can make a substantial difference in how Jay Signal plots. Perhaps several charts would be a solution if one is working with someone who is using a different session template as I am.

    Good trading, W.

  5. I'm not going for autotrader. I'm mainly going for a heads up. This is some basic logic i created will fast with bloodhound. Need to add more stuff. The red green areas is only to alert you. http://s11.postimg.org/veuh28av7/3symbloodhound.png

I like your idea. But I don't want to create a lot of work for anyone. Myself included. Or admis, where this usually ends up.

To my mind, it is very easy for a trader to simply hit the Ctrl G on Yahoo Messenger, when he thinks he has an agreed upon setup. That is all that is required of him. Messenger also keeps a log of alerts to ensure everyone is doing their part. The trader will do so because when the instrument moves out of his timezone he can count on someone else signaling him. Insuring that no matter what the geopolitical situation or whatever timezone the instrument is trading, they will still get their trades. It is mutually beneficial situation with the least amount of effort.

    Thanks again for you input.

    W.

  6. I'm not so familiar with this system to know what exactly means #3, but maybe it's possible to automate it and alert you without other person intervention?

btw. I'm glad you've got your new mailbox. ;)

Thanks for the idea Admis. But I have been trying to automate alerts as a solution to this problem of being alerted to a trade out of my normal trading times for years. I don't want to get bogged down in the technical again. I just want to concentrate on trading. And to ensure that I get the big move that the market offers almost everyday, regardless of when it happens.

This makes sense to me. Having a traders work together to get a 24 hour market coverage. And having the ability to adapt easily because it is a real trader involved, not the limited logic of a PC.

    Cheers, W.

  7. @Wanderer, from APEX to Sniper Scalping, and now Jay Signal - note that I'm not criticizing as I like to try out different methods as well. How long have you been trading the Jay Signal system? Did you spend any time in his room or have you been learning/practicing on your own? Why do you think you'll stick with this one rather than some of the others? As always appreciate your input. Thanks.

    Fair questions, all of them.

Yes, I have tried a lot of trading system. Don't even want to think about how many. But the Jay Signal is the best system for me.

I've been trading it for a couple of months, have seen the videos and have taken the Trade Room trial. It is not a hard system to trade. It gets the big moves. It is at least worth your time to check it out. The #3 trade using the 3SymRenko is my trade.

The trading system I will stick with is the one that works over time. They all look good at first. But making money over time is the goal for any career trader. The next step to that goal is to catch the big moves in Gold and Oil 24 hours a day. To me trading is easy. Being there when the opportunity presents itself is not.

All that is required here is for one to press Ctrl G on Messenger when a #3 trade sets-up. That notifies the partner that there is a opportunity. Would you get up in the middle of the night to make $1,000 p/contract. I know I would. And will.

    Thanks for the questions,

    Ciao W.

  8. I'm going to try to implement some sort of indication when price crosses above/below volume to notify through bloodhound indicator. I would like to help u out Wanderer, but I have an unusual work schedule.

    I understand.

Alerts are not going to work for what I have in mind. It will need an experienced trader interpreting the data.

Thought it might be smart to even out the ebb and flow of the markets across the timezones. Might provide more consistent profits over time. Which is the goal. And Oil and Goal seem to be the place to trade for now. And in the US session. But we know how that changes. Being able to cover all the trading sessions just seems like a good idea to me. Especially with Jay Signal. It really helps get the big moves consistently. But geopolitical changes can make them a moving target.

This is important enough that I am willing to teach someone in the US how to trade Jay Signal so that we can work together and make more money, more consistently, over time.

    Thanks, W.

  9. I trade CL and GC using Jay Signal in the Hong Kong timezone. That would be 7pm EST to 7am EST New York.

I am looking for a Jay Signal trader who trades the US day time session at 7am EST to 7pm EST New York.

When I get a Jay Signal Trade #3 during the normal daytime session in the Hong Kong timezone, I will signal my partner through Yahoo Messenger. I selected YM because the audio is user defined. The signal can be done with a single key stroke (Ctrl G) and be any sound you select.

My partner in the US will do the same during his normal day time trading session.

This will give us both good 24 hour coverage of the CL and GC markets. Perhaps others.

Time to make some money while there is still time.

    Thanks, W.

  10. Thanks Brad, very kind of you.Nah, no charges and no fines. They wouldn't dare. Just a cease and desist order for our US brokerage,so we pulled our HFT scripts off the markets to get them off the hook.Everybody is OK. You are absolutely spot on mate, when you say hypocritical.Rather not say any more. You have a PM.

    Take care buddy.:)

Retail traders have to come up with a better mouse trap to maintain an edge. The Banksters just change the rules to maintain their edge. BassTurds.

    W.

  11. One of the reason why I wanted to utilize the new release is that *SiRaven* module does not work under the current educated system. I have attempted to activate it under both live SIM trading and "market replay" but without any success. The module does come up under strategy but will not execute any signals which I can see on the chart.

Second, there are some good systems shown up on this board, for example *J@ySignal*, however, I have a major problem getting an order filled at the signal price. If anyone here has tried to use the system, especially under 3Renko you will understand what I am talking about. Also by the time you get filled in CL the signal has already hit the symmetry dots in his system and that's not really neither efficient nor profitable!. So what I was attempting to do was trying to replicate the signal in BH and then having it executed automatically in *SiRaven*.

This indicator will give you the actual Bid and Ask on a Line for Heikin Ashi. The way Jay recommends that you enter is to Buy the Ask or Sell the Bid. These lines will show you where those are.

    Good trading, W
