the important thing is that the delay response to realize you are at the wrong direction is very small and once you get higher highs on the 1 renko and blue and you are short- you understand at once that something is wrong and you might have to reverse or exit.

NeuralNets for NT8 using Encog 3.3

Started to search some stuff.....Not as easy as wished.....
 
Anyway, got a NeuralNets for NT8 using Encog 3.3 (https://futures.io/download/vip_elite_circle/1720-download.html?view)
 

This is a first trial at neural Nets. Used NEAT nets because it saves the hassle of determining the amount of hidden layers.
In order for this to work, you must:
 
use the link below to get the Encog Dll( place the DLL inside your custom folder), the reason being that I made some changes to the original code in order to be able to serialize the Normalization Helper. this is very important since this Add On will not work with other ENCOG Libraries. If you have any problems with this, let me know, and we can figure out a way so that you can get the right file .

once you have the file, and referenced it in NT8( NT forums have a lot of info on how to reference an external library in NT), then import this AddOn.

Neural Nets are an interesting topic. I hope people contribute to advance and improve the available knowledge on NNs and Ninjatrader. I hope people can come up with new and novel ways to use them, and also to share them with our community.

All of this order flow software should be able to automatically make decisions on when to buy / sell. The experience of when to do it should be built into the software based on the trading experience of the alleged experts who designed it in the first place.
 
Algo shops autotrade. There's no humans looking at order flow numbers and entering / exiting based on their personal expertise. That's the whole point of having the computer do it. It's faster and if you have a viable edge, you make money long-term.
 
So the fact that no vendor is offering up any solutions in this area is suspect that the edge is not as good as they make it out to be. All these vendors prove one thing: it's easier to convince their customers to buy something that looks good without having to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that it IS good.
