  1. omaron...as always, I agree with you, mate. Just taking the opportunity to tag-along with a built-in, rare request in this thread for something in ThinkScript to be converted to NinjaScript.

    Cheers!

    Mick

    No worry. If you find the indi useful, just share it with the guys :)

  2. Without "hijacking" the thread, I've got another ThinkScript indicator ("Dr Brett's Levels") that would be outstanding in NinjaTrader!

    I can either post it here or send it directly to any benevolent NinjaScript coder.

    Hopefully!

    Mick

    better make a new thread and request some1 to code that, post whatever you have so it makes things easier for anyone interested.

  3. ok, I see... so, in the first up I see a litlte traffic with this url, here:

    http://www.orderflowanalytics.com/ofaninjaupgrade.html

    so, I really dont know if change some code.. so.. I will run a VM, clean.. and add that domain to localhost redirect.

    That url returns a 404 error currently. That means the page ofaninjaupgrade.html does not exist (anymore). It might been able to affect the indi when it was on, but should not currently. Logically, "old" users might been irremediably affected, but new users should not have problems (which is not the case apparently)...

  4. maybe the problem is with data feed.. CQG dont have L2 data. when the indi is load, tried to get the last 250 bart with L1 and L2 data, but CQC only provied L1 data as hitorical, only in live connection have L1 and L2.. so, if some one have IQ feed provider can test this, and probably it will work ok. IQ feed have L1 and L2 historical data provided. and in the web page of ofa, say "only work with IQ feed".. maymbe modified the indi change this:

    // infinite

    new DataSeries(this, MaximumBarsLookBack.Infinite);

    // 256

    new DataSeries(this, MaximumBarsLookBack.TwoHundredFiftySix);

    with (not look back, only one bar):

    new DataSeries(this, MaximumBarsLookBack.One);

    It worked with CQG feed until like yesterday. The only limitation is that you don't have historical data with CQG. From what other people posted, same error shows with IQ Feed too. Probably too many people getting access to the indicator triggered some security filters (or some1 from OFA is reading this thread and took some measures...)

  5. Then, loading OF@ charts shows error and crashes ninja. Started NT as administrator (as recommended by Stockpro) is giving the same error.

    Anyone experiencing same issues? Probably someone can install on computer where legacy OF@ wasn't installed before and see if data issue can be resolved.

    Many thanks to Stockpro for getting us this far.

    I have same issue and some other people have it too. I did not had OFA legacy installed, so is not that the cause. I am not sure though if is a NT issue or OFA issue. That window error does not specify anything (say contact support but not say which support)

  6. I think That Error Can Be Solved By Running Ninjatrader as an administrator And Also Add Indicators Of OFA When You Have Loaded Data Completely

    Does it still work for you? I get the same error like the guys reported above

  7. OFA Free????????? ummmm is it possible??

    http://www.orderflowanalytics.com/english/index.php/software/ofa-free

    Events are held Tuesdays at 4:00 PM ET

    That would make sense as i think 90% of people who will take the indicator will not be able to use it without proper training, and they will charge A LOT for education.

    However, that form does not seems to work. I tried to join but nothing happens when i click "submit". No other links work, looks like the page is not finished. Maybe is their new move, maybe already abandoned plan.. i guess we need to wait and see

  8. egaalh, your posts are highly appreciated. I just have a few questions, which i think may help many people reading your posts to understand better.

    1. Which is your entry chart? 1M, 5M or 15M? Or any of them if you see a signal?

    2. How is ATM Dynamic Channel fitting in the system? I did not see any reference to it.

    3. Do you use profit targets or also exist on opposite signal?

    Maybe some example trades with enter/exit market and reasons for it would be good for better understanding.

  9. Yes, I talked to Eds'om and Gom'om ... No, it's not that simple - these guys have their own opinion and not very adequate in approach. The problem is that the guys do not reach the ground and rolled up, with the personal letters I myself BigMayk banned - a goat he's dumb! ... I nastyren and do not stop, and most people stay on the obstacles!

    Programmers are different, the price fluctuates quite serious depending on the abilities ... complexity is not in the definition of pricing, and the adequacy of the artist ... that is, I do not care how much to pay - 1000 ... 20000 ... No man! ... some *****s who imagine themselves benefactors!

    Although google translate didn't do a good job, it did get one thing right "BigMike is a dumb goat" :)

  10. C'mon man, really... you joined yesterday and you are talking about this community/forum value? You just joined this forum and your first post was in this thread, defending BMT and questioning the forum value?!

    Let me tell you my story with that fat a$$ BMT, which by the way, personally or through his trolls, is actively monitoring this forum.

    I got myself banned from his forum because allegedly piracy of his content. First of all, it is not "his" content. His content is the posts he made about his pathetic life and trading. Everything else is the ownership of the people who posted or coded. Second of all, i never shared anything from his forum (at least not before i was banned). All i did was being a member of this forum and using the same nick as on BMT.

    I was an elite member since 2009 or so, when membership cost was like $25 or something. I did not had a lot of posts because i am not the kind of forum poster. I only speak when i have something to say.

    Now i have to say two things.

    1. BM philosophy changed drastically in the recent years. He became more and more hypocrite and greedy. Just look at the webinars from last 12-16 months and you will see. Those are not webinars, are sales pitches. 99% of them (in not 100%) are hold by vendors who have something to sell, promoting their tools and methods.

    2. BMT forum is the reason i joined this forum. I wanted access to educated vendor products promoted in his webinars, to see what exactly they are about. All vendors claim proprietary alogs and making all kind of claims, knowing that nobody can check because their dlls are obfuscated (really!?)

    Some of them are more or less original, but many of them are just rip offs of... guess what... BMT elite indicators. Repacked indicators, sometime not improved or even renamed.

    BMT forum is one of the reasons so many snake oil sellers emerged. The real danger for the new traders is not yamantaka, who is sharing free stuff for free (just because BMT asks money for elite indicators does not mean they are not free, read the GNU license terms) but scammers who are paying $50 or whatever to become elite members just to have an endless sources of new indicators to repack and sell.

    Although i could easily made a new username and pay for an elite membership again, i did not.

    Draw your own conclusions.

    Yamantak, you criticize Mike for stealing indicators and then commit to stealing them yourself? I would be worried if I behaved like that.

    As an "elite" member of BMT, I can say that I have learned more from the $50 I paid than any of the 1-point stop losses on the emini that I lost before I found BMT. I also learned that 4 ticks is too tight of a stop for the types of trades I was trying to do, and why. I also found the community there to be supportive and encouraging. I think I have downloaded 2 indicators and installed 1. You are stealing the wrong part of BMT. You should steal the collaboration and civility. You should steal the webinars. You should steal the members' resolve to self improve, which is infectious.

    I won't write off Indo Investasi because of the rantings of one member. But posts like this make me wonder if I will have to sift through more like it before I find the actual value it has to offer.

    I am surprised this thread has not satisfied Godwin's Law yet. Only a matter of time...

  11. Like many other "level services" this software only grabs and display levels that are actually calculated on a server and you need username and password to get access. A patch is not really possible since a username can always be disabled from the server, and is nothing you can do about that. And, as i said in another post, you will entirely depend on that service. If they go out of business (or they have technical issues), there will be no more levels on your chart.
