  1. if we have enough people here interested we can always do group buy. I am learning profile/footprint right now and I am sure I do need some kind of price action to go along with it.

That's great. I don't currently incorporate volume/profile/footprint into my trading, but I think I should as it can somehow provide some edge (especially on confirmation if a trade should be entered). I use multicharts/tradestation for my trading with supply/demand techniques and looking to switch over to NT and this forum is quite useful.

  2. if you look at his very first videos you can see that he did not have any market profile indicators and still was constantly profitable , at list on videos. Looks like he was using price action , s/d zones and just very good feel of the market that comes only with long trading experience .

I disagree, he says on his video on 1/10/15 that he didnot reveal that he used volume profile until now, he had used volume profile all along.

I think price action, support/resistance, momentum indicator matters but not so much. I guess the bulk of the strategy is based around volume profile, order flow and important numbers, prior high/low etc.

  3. Lets think collectively and find out his strategy

Great idea and thanks! Guys I urge you to please share what you think his strategy is and if you know something or have figured out please share it here. There are plenty more pips to be made between by sharing and maybe we can all master his profitable strategy and more.

    My punt on his strategy:

    1. Watching for first rejection of high volume node (HVN) and entering trade after the second rejection of the HVN in the direction of a LVN on entry chart.

    2. Divergence on the momentum indicator - not a primary factor.

    3. 12R chart, watching that the price isnt trading on value area high (peak areas). The ideal scenario is that price should be trading around the high volume area or outside of value area high.

    4. SL on the other side of HVN.

    5. Levels to watch for IB, Yesterday open/high, inside/outside day.

But he does not always execute his strategy based on the above. Anything else?

  4. I have watched over 20+ videos and still can't pin-point the exact entry method. His strategy seems very viable and profitable.

I wouldn't mind trading DAX his way (higher % of winners). I am an intraday DAX trader based on supply/demand method on MC platform though. I may change platform to NT soon due to more addons availability for futures.

I have also emailed him in early Dec and got a similar reply as Lenry.

  5. On the right he has the smaller time frame and has drawn a trendline (grey line) sloping downwards which when that breaks he will enter the trade and then look to scale out of his position once the previous high on that 4 range chart has been broken.

Both of your charts are the same, where is the right chart and what date is it?

I agree with you that the trade plane is something in the line of trendline break, confirmation from momentum indicator (divergences). However, a key part of his strategy is volume profiles (nodes) with some higher time frame order flow. He does enter both around high/low volume nodes - and volume profile entries isnt consistent on 4R. What is his exact entry method, still pondering.

Is there an indicator to draw initial balance and extensions, yesterday close/open levels or higher timeframe high/low volume nodes on small timeframes?

  6. It's very useful when you want to plot VP on a swing leg I think THD uses this kind of methodology

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IvuDv_cD5Q

Be aware trading DAX could be very hectic

The method isn't exactly as per your above YouTube video. Still wondering what is this precise entry method using volume analysis, I have already watched over 10+ videos of the YouTube trader and still can't figure out his exact method trading DAX. If you watch closely the TDI indicator is used a secondary confirmation instead of primary entry criteria.

Yes DAX can move very fast and isn't for the faint hearted, managing risk is key for trading a fast mover like DAX.

Does anyone have any analysis on DAX instrument like: average rotations/swings pips, time of swings, daily range, etc.

  7. Which oscillator is on bottom of chart? Can you share chart template ?

Not sure, but I think its a momentum indicator from futures.i0.

Do you know how the entries are being made in the video - detailed explanation? What's his method? It seems extremely profitable method, 95% live trades are profitable with very low risk.

  8. Hi Ninja's,

Live DAX Trading all profitable trades, watch the above video to see. He uses ranchodinero volume profile to scalp DAX using low/high volume nodes with NT.

I am trying to understand in detail what is strategy used and how entries are done. Can anyone share how the entries are made - detailed explanation is appreciated. The strategy seems very viable and profitable. I'm trying to understand exactly how it's done.

    Thank you.
