Same here, anyone have MC 8.7 cured version?
-
How do I do live trading with NT7? The available credit is -5000 even with emulator.
-
It works! You have to start NT7 and its emulator first then stop the emulator. Then you starts MC & its emulator. port 80 conflict problem resolved. :)
-
Tito run first one emu (or nt or mc emu) then turn it of and run the other. The software check the emu only at the start.
I remembered that MC will check emulator periodically every few minutes. Maybe NT7 won't?
I'll try start NT7 & emulator first then stop NT 7 emulator, then MC & it's emulator, see if it works, thanks!
-
How can I run NT emulator on port other than 80? I wanted to run MC emulator along with NT emulator, but both emulators run on port 80. Thanks.
-
Still can't make it work. :(
Anyone?
-
Thanks ak47ssss
Since original posters/crackers seems not returning to the forum at this time and all the instructions are scattering throughout the thread.
The only way to make it work is write down every bit of info and place them in one spot, making them as clear as possible, helping myself and others.
If this package finally works, it will be a very very powerful tool.
Hope john1/fxmozart, etc can return ASAP.
Best,

OK, this time I unzip QuickData to C:\Program Files\Deltix\QuickData and run QSA and this time it works!
Most program works now.
But when I try to start Visual Alpha, it keeps giving "unknown reason" error and asking me give it a license.
http://i43.tinypic.com/34g8sv9.png
But isn't license.xml file at C: drive root, and license.zip unzipped to C:\Program Files\Deltix\QuantServer\build\classes\deltix\util \license give a valid license?
and when using QuantOffice, Charts function won't plot anything even though the stock symbol and data is there, what gives?
It keeps saying "Only daily, intraday and tick streams are supported." error.
====
Replaced with real license key from post #42 and reinstall, same result. :(
This is the printout of C:\license.xml
http://i39.tinypic.com/hrk7ww.png
and why it says offline is false, does that mean everytime we start QuantOffice, it will check against remote live server? Does that mean sooner or later the program will be blocked?
-
OK, I ran QuantServer Architect (qsadmin.cmd) and finally let it created TimeBase service on port 8011. But the service wouldn't start, even if I replace with the files from post #148.
Can anyone help?
====
OK, I reset VM and reinstall, and this time it went through. Selected a C:\DELTIX directory when running qsadmin.cmd for the first time.
qsadmin.cmd created the following sub directories:
config
logs
services
tickdb
trader
uhf
work
Seems everything OK, including Timebase, Aggreator, Execution Server service.
But StrategyServer service on port 8899 just keeps stopping and won't start. Don't know what went wrong :(
http://i40.tinypic.com/2zoi44o.png
Didn't use Timebase.zip files, do I have to? If yes, do I replace the 3 files under C:\DELTIX\services\TimeBase ?
What else should I do? I started TimeBase Administrator, tested local connection to port 8011 and was OK. But when I start QuantOffice, it says it can not connect to timebase. :(
====
OK, I did replace TimeBaseSvcLauncher.exe with the one given in Timebase.zip, but did not replace config.txt and TimeBase.cmd, since the paths in these 2 files are different? Tried to restart the service but still does not work.
====
Tried QuickData.zip provided by fxmozart (post#83 http://www.sendspace.com/file/es53g8 ) and still doesn't work. I unzip the files to C:\QuickData and direct QSA to that folder. TimeBase connects OK but QuantOffice still doesn't work.
-
Wow! Thanks for everyone who helped (john1, fxmozart, bandito, etc.) creating the cures that make this works! It's really fascinating.
However, I tried to follow instructions and installed everything and looks good. But I still can't create timebase service mentioned in the threads.
There are some steps that I need some clarification. I'm doing this in XP64 SP2 VM.
I used all default directory settings except TimeBase directory in later part.
1. When I install the program (get the install file from post #121), I entered one of the serial posted, and the program goes out and check with the server and said the serial is invalid, I ignored the error and go ahead with the installation. Does the error will cause any installation problem?
This is what I have done
a. copy license.xml (post #146, http://www.sendspace.com/file/likwun ) to C:\
obtain two qsc.dll files and license.rar in post #144
http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/IEJOf8gVGasRwJNUbTtD%2Bayzp0GAeMK9
then
b. copy qsc.dll "C:\Program Files\Deltix\quantserver\build\dotnet"
c. unzip qsc.dll.zip and overwrite qsc.dll under "C:\Program Files\Deltix\quantoffice\bin"
d. unrar license.rar and overwite same files under
"C:\Program Files\Deltix\QuantServer\build\classes\deltix\util\license"
e. copy cracked quantofficeshell.exe (post #13 or #152, http://www.sendspace.com/file/80ycg9) to "C:\Program Files\Deltix\quantoffice\bin"
obtained config files from post #146, http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/jtl%2Bbtc9JR0zo0z0g4MkUg
f. copy clntenv.cfg.cmd to "C:\Program Files\Deltix\quantserver\bin"
g. copy qsadmin.cmd to "C:\Program Files\Deltix\quantserver\bin"
I got questions though.
a). in fxmozart's post #144, he said qsc.dll.zip should go to quantoffice/bin, that means I should unzip qsc.dll.zip and overwrite the qsc.dll in that directory, correct?
b). licenses files goes into :
C:\Program Files\Deltix43.27A24257\QuantServer\build\classes\ deltix\util\license
I think it should be C:\Program Files\Deltix\QuantServer\build\classes\deltix\util\license, right?
Since there is no C:\Program Files\Deltix43.27A24257 directory after installation, correct?
==============
My eyes are really getting tired and I was not able to find the procedure & files to install timebase service.
Can fxmozart or anyone help? I ran the qsadmin.cmd command and QuantServer Architect starts, and it tried to open a file, but I don't know what it's looking for?
I think I must be missing something. This is a long thread that I think I just missed where the instruction is to install the timebase service.
Best,
====
Finally found TimeBase.zip in post #48 ( http://www.sendspace.com/file/2nupdp ), but still don't know how to use it. :(

Does this mean TS 8.7 and Owndata 2.7 combo only works under XP (or XP VM)? They don't work under Win7 x64 directly?
Since I can make 8.6 works with OD 2.7 under Win7 x64, but not TS 8.7.
OD 2.7 recognized TS 8.7 being installed but I could not download any data into it using IB data.
And besides 0.1 version higher than 8.6, what's the advantage using 8.7?

I just f u c k e d myself today!!!
I got the stock data/soft files on 3TB drive on Windows 7. Today I feel like to reinstall Windows 7 and forgot to remove the drive first. After I installed the Windows 7 on another drive and reboot, since the Windows 7 does not have storage driver installed, it thinks the NTFS system on 3TB is corrupted and try to fix it. When I returned to my PC, it's too late! It truncated about every files on the disk!
I was so desperate that I need to get all the files back!!!!!!
Can anyone help me? :((:((:((:((:((:((:((:((
Should I let Windows fix the NTFS volume or not after I installed Intel newest storage driver?
Or I should use other rescue software? HELP!!!!

Thanks! I restored the original hosts file and it seems works now! :)
Hope it can past 30 days. Thanks again!

Thanks for luixpg posting MC80 and MC80.NET earlier.
However, I was not able to make MC80.NET to work.
1) Install "x32/multicharts.net.8.0_5825.exe" or "x64/multicharts.net.8.0.x64_5826.exe"
2) Replace original tsServer.exe file on work folder with cracked Crack/tsServer.exe
3) Go to c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, open this file in notepad, add below text in end of file :
#MultiCharts 8
127.127.20.0 mcauth.com
127.127.20.0 mcauth1.com
127.127.20.0 mcauth2.com
4) Run emulator from /Emu/Mc80NetLicEmu.exe and press Start button
5) Run MC8 and press REGISTER button...
Registration name: blovelike
Registration code: [email protected]
I followed above instruction but it keeps complaining it can't connect to digital rights management.
I tried on Win7 & Win8 x64. port 80 is free before running emulator
And anyone confirm that registration name is
name: blovelike
code: [email protected]
not
name: b_lovelike
code: [email protected]
or even
name: andreybbrv
code: [email protected]
like MC80?
I tried above 3 combinations and none worked.
Can anyone confirm? I really like to make MC80.NET work.
-
anyone know how to make MC 8.0 & MC.NET 8.0 emulators running on the same machine?
Thanks.

Thanks luixpg for this excellent post!
One question, though. Is it possible to run MC8 & MC8.NET emulator at tghe same time on same machine?
I have tried to modify httpport value in app.config to values other than 80, but it didn't work. The emulators still listen on port 80.

To FX:
I can't reply your message since I have less than 15 posts (I got 14)
SO here is my reply.
No. The only reference comes with the installation and it's a chm file. Can be donwloaded here too. http://www.multicharts.com/downloads/PowerLanguage.NET.chmDo you have Manual or user guide of MCH8.net or MCH8 Easylenguage? -
To FX_SuperTrader:
I'm sorry. I don't have any experience in programming in any .NET languages. I wish I can learn C# & MC.NET's PowerLanguage in one shot, but I'm afraid that it will be a long, long shot. Really don't know how long it will take me.
-
Thanks FX_SuperTrader:
I did manage to install Indicators & Strategies earlier today.
The problem seems that MC8.NET requires full administrator priviledge when installing in XP32 or XP64. But when I was installing, I did not notice that even though I used administrator account, the install default is "Run this program with restricted access".
After unchecking the option, it installed OK and the Indicators and Strategies did show up in the folder. The only odd thing is that there is no built-in Functions like MC6. The whole Functions folder is blank.
-
when install again check box "Compile Indic. and Strategies". I believe that you no compile when installing it.
Tried several times and never see this option. :(
