does this EA still active and profitable

I have a PAMM account: One trade within one month, slightly profitable. I guess its best days are over

I heard it is protected by mqllock and therefore not easy to educate.

But the price is only 47$ anyway, if further forward tests are good, I will buy it.

I joined their MAM. Performance fee is only 10% and then at least you're sure the stuff works properly.

I'm not sure if it's an account blower. But open trades on myfxbook are hidden, so I guess it opens heaps of orders. That's dangerous.

I want to start with huge initial deposit about 15.000$ . this EA version is for my Demo account, I will check the result on my demo account if the result be acceptable I will open a real account on HOTForex Broker and I will get my real version .

This EA gives zero divide error. I think it is not eucate properly

True Triangular Arbitrage won't work on retail forex accounts - the spreads are too great, the slippage too high and the execution times too long. Real time triangular arbs - when they occur - are exploited in milliseconds - by the time the data arrives on your platform the clever boys are already closing their arb trades - you will almost always get left with a locked in loss. Statistical Arbitrage/Pairs trading is the way to go.

I don't think this EA does real triangular arbitration. I mean why does it use two indicators?

At the moment I do some forward testing with this EA and results are not bad.

I think it does some scalping with EURGBP, but by doing a EURUSD trade and a opposite GBPUSD trade (don't ask me why....). It does rarely a EURGBP trade!

I let it run with 4 maximal trades, that's more save than the default settings.

check birt's forward test. But there aren't any long running forward tests yet, so we have to be patient.

Could anyone edu this EA? Author doesn't want to sell or rent out this EA and is a butt fiddler anyway. :))

It has a time restriction built in. Could anyone remove it?

I checked it and it works, especially with EURUSD. The optimisation of SL gives me also 29.

I tried with a broker with GMT+1 and a time of 22:00-24:00

If you don't set a stop loss the EA just "forgets" the position with a loss, very dangerous.

Grid trading is cool. I run "Indo Run" on the EURCHF pair, due to the peg of this two currencies there will be no large trends.

But check what the SNB (Swiss central bank) is doing resp. when will they announce news, or it will blow your account...

But I have a problem when I'm trying to run backtest on this version.

 

I put 1000EUR initial deposit

I set LotSize to 0.04 and RiskValue to 0

 

but when I run the backtest LotSize is 0.10 (instead of 0.04)

 

Can someone explain me why ?

Maybe your broker doesn't support a lot of 0.04, so he takes automatically 0.1
