I found how Dt calculates Pivot lvls .... it uses previous days data to calculate tomorrows levels ... not today's data to calculate tomorrows level (its simple classic pivot level calculation)

Sixer, i'm tryin to add scrips in portfolio ..but its not accepting, its giving Error

sixer.. freddy, the range tat Dt gives is totaly weird sometimes the resistance starts from previous days lows .. but price do move there to touch those levels .. and there is difference in range between R1, R2 and S1 S2 http://i42.tinypic.com/qqztl5.jpg

 

Dt gave this lvls for nifty yesterday - ress 5162.33 - 5197.32 supp 5071.08 - 5014.82 (5151.5, 5174.15, 5130.25, 5158.30... this were the open, high, low, close)

 

if u calculate according to classic pv calculation then it comes R1 5178.2, r2 5198.1, R3 5222.1 ----- S1 5134.3, S2 5110.3, S3 5090.4

 

Camarilla says R1 5162.32 R2 5166.34 R3 5170.37 ----------- S1 5154.27, S2 5150.25, S3 5146.22

 

Fibonacci R1 5171.00, R2 5181.36, R3 5198.13 ----------- S1 5137.46, S2 5127.10, S3 5110.33

 

woodie R1 5180.25, R2 5199.15 --------- S1 5136.35, S2 5111.35

 

 

the resistance may look nearby ........ but how can support be so out of the range

Ya its totally different from all those pivot levels ... it kinda uses data from previous 3-5 days and price moves like charm from those levels

 

the software has only R1 R2 and S1 S2 ... price just shoots when it breaks R2 or S2

 

so just wondering if someone knows how R3, S3 is calculated

and it has a awesome accuracy ..

umm .. its not the common pivot levels ... it works differently

And how to calculate Ress 3 and support 3 and wat will be the pivot point
