you can buy yourself a NASA computer and it will not make any difference. NT7 uses a single thread for everything. Unless you use some specialized multi-thread techniques to program your indicators, which is way beyond the skillset of most people here on this forum, no offense. Just my 2 cents.

please repost the emu.
Also, does anyone have .NET version with lic emu? TIA

AMP offers full MultiCharts free with the account. You can also use MetaTrader 5 at AMP together with Ninja for no additional fee, yes you can trade futures with MT5. I use NT for charting, CQGTrader + API for order entry and automated trade management (custom solution).

Thank you FxHeaven,
I have managed to install the NT 7.31
I added the Continuum and the CQG (with live connection details). It all worked while the market is open. However, now I do not have anything on my chart. So, this implies to me that the historical data is lost.
Any help there.
Thanks in Advance
Like it says in the Readme.txt:
"In My personal version these things are disabled:
AtiServer
NinjaTrader data server connections for historic data
messageTimer
newsTimer
RSS fetching."

@andyshooktrader my Chrome and IE say "virus detected" when downloading https://www.sendspace.com/file/ven1w1 . Any ideas?

Nice colors, good for entertainment :D

I didn't download or used that indicator, but fwiw, NinjaTrader 7 supports up to .NET 3.5, it won't run anything above that version, so if you add any assembly that targets 4.0+ it will complain.

My biggest issues by far are performance and support. Other platforms have standard features (ex. footprint, market profile) that in Ninja require 3rd party add-ons. Have always had issues with performance in Ninja - the DOM lags as compared to say ****** which presents issues with order execution. My workspace and chart regularly freeze or crash (some improvement on 64 bit but still unacceptable) and is untradeable during periods of high volatility. I run one workspace with max 10 charts (daily, 60 min, 15 min are pretty basic), and whenever possible have my indicators set to update on bar close, as "true". Every so often I have a workspace become corrupt and have to spend the time to recreate it. I’ve gone through various forums, suggestions on the Ninja support site to change anything I can to improve performance but haven’t been able to see any significant improvements.
I run a computer dedicated to trading only, lots of memory and power so none of this should be an issue. I've done troubleshooting on my internet connection/provider, router, had servicemen come in and don't have problems on other applications so I believe the issue is Ninja although they deny it. Ninja being single-threaded rather than multi-threaded doesn’t help with performance either.
Some of these issues may be dealt with in NT8 but I’ve dealt with these problems for years now and who knows how NT8 will perform when it is ever finally released. For the time, education, money, frustration invested all these years in Ninja, I just feel I’d be better off if I went with a different platform when I was starting out.
On their support forums you rarely find an answer to a problem, they always ask people to send in log and trace files so you can't troubleshoot anything yourself (for common problems) and have to wait to go through support. When you do deal with support they frequently ask to have access to your computer (I don't like to give anyone access to my computer even if they are support) and then they snoop around outside the areas they should be looking (know this for a fact).
With this new brokerage business they no longer allow Canadians whereas long-time business partners AMP and Optimus did. I also heard their Brokerage support was poor but can't speak to this personally.
Re: NT DOM performance, if you are on AMP/CQG you could just pay extra $10 for 2nd login and run CQG trader instead of NT DOM side by side with NT charting. CQGT doesn't have lagging issues, at least I haven't noticed any.

Hello maniac.
Perhaps in order to extract the .cs file cleanly you should use Dot NET reflector?
Cya maniac.:)
You can create a full VisualStudio solution from a decompiled dll file with Reflector, Telerik, or JetBrains. It will create a 90% accurate code, so you can figure out the logic algos. However, to put it back together in a c# indicator form is another story

Hi all,
I used Market Delta trader with a feed from CQG that my broker gave me with no charge, i managed to start the Ninja and connect to the demo
CQG account, but i can't connect to my live account (again from CQG),
It writes to me "Login failed: Invalid\Unauthorizes Private Label" ,
do i need to tell my broker i am now willing to use Ninja with the
CQG or do i need to tell them something else ?
Thanks for the amazing help.
you need to talk to your broker, they have to enable your acct to use with Ninja

It is not a good deal for me. They specify $5.14 RT for 6E (Euro) when using NT Direct. It is about $1/RT more than what I got at AMP with NTDirect. In order to get $3.38 RT All-In on ES you have to purchase $995 lifetime license, which would be for 1 broker only. So what's the benefit there? How much do they ask for minimum initial deposit?

Hi,
I need a magician to educate these great indicators for NT.

Thanks in advance
what are those?

Sorry mate, I don't have it. I'm sure someone will post.

I think, your broker only knows when you logged in/out and your all transactions but he does not know if your NT is cracked or genuine.
My broker knows that the trades were made using NT. I have to pay extra costs per transaction whenever I use NT, they are Trading Technologies DOM fees. This happens whenever I execute trades via a strategy or a DOM. If trading via NT is enabled, I get hit with extra costs, not much, but it appears on the statement.

I think the correct url should be http://www.FmyA.com lol

the guy is charging $4k and can't afford a decent graphic/web developer, yuck!

How can I make this auto trader make actual trades? I see the arrows on the charts and the strategy is enabled, but I don't see any trades made, I tried simulated feed only with Sim101 acct. Is there any manual for that? TIA
