    Please check my prev post ... it is closing after 25 pips profit on most pairs ... I'v seen that it closes few pairs with 35 pip profit ... anyway ... after 3 days of testing (not good for conclusions, but) ... it WORKS ... even after such drop like EURUSD failure ... but it is not the grail I'm looking for .. I optimized FGB and it had a good run this week .... live test account from 137 USD to 205 USD (o,o1 lot about 500 pips) ... just in one day ... what a killer .... anyway ...

    Jen, minlot that broker allowed migth be effected to this case...Note lot order it calculate from total order lot that cal from account and risk/ the number of order will be open...example 0.8/4=

    By the way, this is what I saw when using News filter indicator:

     

    2011.03.02 23:17:41 NCal EURCHF.s,M5: Alert: EURCHF.s | News Update Failed!

    2011.03.02 23:17:41 NCal: empty string parameter for FileWriteString function

     

    Do you know how to fix this error ?

     

    It continues to show "News Update FAILED", which is very annoying. I hope that you can check and see if we can fix this error or not.

    Hello Dacky,

     

    Thanks for your updated version.

     

    Just have some further questions:

     

    1. Does this ea work well with Eurgbp besides Eurchf ? Have you ever tried it on Eurgbp, m5? and any good backtesting results ?

     

    2. For Eurchf, recently, most brokers have spreads around 3 to 4 pips. So, is it still profitable with spread = 4 pips? I noticed that max spread is 3 pips. So, does it mean that during the trading time of this ea, if spread of Eurchf is more than 3 pips, the ea will not place trade, right ?

    For Eurgbp, many brokers offer 1 pip lower than Eurchf, for example, 2.5 pips to 3.5 pips. This is why I ask if we can trade Eurgbp with this ea profitably or not? Or can we do optimization on Eurgbp so that this ea can work well on eurgbp as well as eurchf.

     

    3. About using News filter indicator, I noticed that the News filter indicator posted in previous post did not work properly. I always saw it said "News updates FAILED" .

     

    So, could anybody post the correct news filter indicator / latest version so that there will not be this similar problem anymore? Thanks a lot

     

    + Highly appreciate if somebody can post the best preset files for Eurchf, m5 and Eurgbp, m5 (optimized for the last 2 - 3 years) with spreads = 3.5 or 4 pips. This is actual spread on Eurchf and even sometimes, on Eurgbp.

    Tadawulfx does offer fixed spreads at 3 pips on Eurchf and Eurgbp, but it seems that this ea does not perform well on Tadawulfx (first version V3.1). Maybe, because of requotes, or execution delay, etc on Tadawulfx ?

    Hi Jen,

    1.This Ea it can work for all pairs especialy for the pairs that have 4 or 5 digits, it also can work with 2 digits but it need some modification

    2. If the spread it over than input value....this Ea will not excute the trade...anyway you can put 4 or 5 instead of 3. Please awear the profit will reduce as well.

    3. I have no idea for news filter it work well for me.

    hidden tp/sl seem not working. maybe this is the internal tp/sl?

     

    Ty1., it correct i should call internal TP/Sl , it monitoring by indicators that we open the order such RSI, CCI,

     

    Tom, FXopen is GMT+2, May be you can modified to auto GMT same as all regular EA....May by you can re-upload for Halcyonn? I work only 4share

    Ho3, If you would like to use on ECN....try to ad slipage to 30...it may be okay...

    I was wondering what PF1, PF2, PF3 and PF4 parameters actually do. They have a big effect when changed. Also how do the three time filters TF1, TF2 and TF 3 work? :-/

    Hi Tom,

    Thank for your work out, i work on this EA based on FXopen....TF1,2...n.., are minimum times that order to open position...in seconds(it strick by FXopen) and PF1,2...n...are minimum profit that we should be take if market condition it go againt the open position.

    Hi All fellow traders,

    here is modified EA Thunder 4WD and Dragonpip.

    It's seems got pretty results for EUR/CHF, TFM5

    Trading asian session with the main idea to scaper with good TP/SL ratio(8/18=2.22)

    BT with tickdata from FXDD it quite pretty good....

    I strongly requested to do additional BT with realy good tickdata from the other provider or even farward test....

     

    Just my 5 cents here
