    The video exhaustively shows what to do.
    You don't have to do anything else.

    It is easier to check your indicator yourself than to write here.

    Hello, everyone.

    The scheme of licensing (protection) of indicators/addons can be divided into 3 groups
    1. Using only the standard licensing method from NinjaTrader.
    2. Own licensing method.
    3. Mixed method.

    Let's see what we can do with first group...

    In the video, two indicators are trained (with a missing license and with a completed trial).

    Some vendors from the first group:

    IQ of a Genius?

    I don't have the IQ of a genius and even I am able to make shiploads of MONAAYYY with no indicator at all.... It's all in the price action dude!!

    1) ALWAYS trade in the direction of the trend and use trendlines and S&R
    2) A trend occurs when price makes higher highs and higher lows and vice versa for downtrends
    3) ALWAYS use stoplosses
    4) Make lots of MONAAYYY
    5) Repeat process

    nilvano reacted to udc in Ocean Theory indis from TSD elite
    Unfortunately I don't remember the link, but the thread was created by mladen, it was probably in 2009 or 2010 and he was posting all Ocean indicators (NMA, NMC, NMM etc.) in this very same thread one by one (probably as he was programming it) and he always quoted rather long text description of a indi and then he put the .mq4 as the attachment. There were no screenshots (or at least they were not visible while being on trial subscription).

    It is in the advanced elite section. I think if you search advanced elite for "ocean" you should find it right away, even just by listing manually, there are just a few pages there if I remember correctly.

    I signed for advanced elite trial there a week or two ago just to check it out but since there were no screenshots paying $89 seemed a bit too high price for buying something I couldn't even see in advance what it looks like and whether it's really the same algorithms as TradeStation's original. Especially because mladen mentioned that he was looking for a Ocean Theory manual or videos or something like that (or at least I think I noticed such his remark, if I am not mistaken) and this was after he posted all those indis, so I got an impression that he maybe might not have been totally sure whether his implementations are totally faithful to the original algorithms.

    If you were having difficulties in finding this thread I can probably sign for a advanced elite trial there again, to show you.

    Just wait till I upload all the videos from the seminar, Pat Raffalovich is step by step presenting all these indis, as building stones, and it was (at least for me) quite thrilling, I was watching first several hours with eyes on the screen as watching a good movie :-) Then it gets a bit more complicated and without the manual it would be too difficult to follow all that. The free youtube videos are also helpful. Then the bonus video with Jim Sloman precisely describing all this credit, mortgage and reality estate bubbles, injecting more and more money into the system by the fed, rapidly rising inflation, growth of toxic loans and other aspects, and how it all is inevitably going to burst soon turning into the big global economic depression, that was truly just jaw dropping. It makes you think how is it that some guy (sure he is very talented and everything, but still he is just "some guy") knew it all in 2005, several years before it actually happened, and neither banks nor the governments knew it so they could have prevented it. It's just unbelievable, and sad.

    Am I dumb? :-/

    Of course it may be considered as a disguised form of advertising.
    We can only say that it is smarter than those who use spam and are banned in one day.

    Others have done the same thing for over a year to sell their method that uses two letters of the alphabet.

    Here, perhaps, too, is this the case, to want to promote this system, but I want to say: So what?

    The difference is your judgment.
    Nobody forces people to buy a car brand X because an ad you watch on TV.

    Nobody is forced to join FXAW.

    It turns out that, personally, I wanted to join because I knew the reputation of Bluto.
    The membership fee is relatively modest, given the value.
    I could afford to spend this amount reasonable to test myself.
    If, now, I considered that I had been cheated, I would say, as I denounced most scams.
    But no, I do not feel cheated.
    When asked if this system is BS.
    I would say that in this case you can treat all systems in the world of BS, because in front of your screen, you can still play and throw a coin toss, and you will win half the time.

    This system is not a panacea, but for those who know precisely what are the supports / resistances and the price action, you can use this system to your advantage, because Entropy allows you to scan the market in real time and thus allow you, with your judgment to choose the best opportunities for profitability.
    Anyway, this is how I want to use.

    See this as a scanner rather than as a system, and you will appreciate that it lets you focus on your trading, when an opportunity arises.

    This site is a sharing site, yes, and you can not suspect me, not wanting to share.
    We can share what is sharable, here are signals, not a book or soft.
    You can also share ideas, or satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
    Here, today, I share my beliefs: The site of Bluto is not a scam.

    Again, this is only my opinion, and I receive no compensation for my comments.

    As for jmsaffron aka Captain Jack (CJ), it's a nice guy who helps everyone on the forum FXAW as are some friendly members that help here on our forum Indo-Investasi.

    I also read that FreddyFX (who is a member of both forums) is skeptical regarding Entropy and that his personal method it is more profitable.
    This does not mean that it denigrates the work of Bluto.
    This means that it has reached a level of autonomy. And that's fine.
    This, I believe, is the purpose of each of us to reach full autonomy, skill and total independence.
    So, share our ideas, our best sides, aim for the top, rather than trying to belittle everyone at level zero of mediocrity.

    When you're dealing with crooks or pseudo-gurus, it's normal to want to disseminate and prevent newbies to get ripped off, but when people offer services with reasonable value for money, we don 'have no reason to "steal" - "share" their honest skills.

    Excuse me for this long post.

    I decided a few days ago, to test this service: Entropy.

    Who is behind Entropy?
    A nice guy named Bluto whose real name is Craig.
    If you are looking Bluto, you will see that he was a contributor on many forums and for several years. He has donated many indicators and EAs.
    Bluto was (and still is) widely respected in the small world of forex.
    A few years ago, he wanted to restrict his research with only a small group because as you can see yourself, public forums unfortunately end up leaving in all directions!
    Craig then founded his private group: FXAW.

    I remember that I had at the time received the invitation to join FXAW (the entrance fee was about $ 150) I have not taken advantage of the opportunity, perhaps I was too novice. Too bad!

    Therefore, finding in this thread, Bluto's name, I finally decided to try its services, and I thank CJ for responding in this thread.

    You know my views on most crooks-gurus-marketers I have often denounced.
    For me, what makes (made?!), the biggest interest of Indo-Investasi is to "try" free all methods and applications, and to pay their authors, for "original works" that bring real added value.

    Unable to try it for free, I decided to dive (knowing the reputation of Bluto) and I'm not disappointed.

    By joining FXAW for a relatively small amount (<$ 300) you join a living community, focused on "tools" provided by Bluto.
    Besides all the indicators and EAs (not tried), you have access "to the search engine" Entropy.

    What is Entropy?

    in · tro · py (ntr-p)
    no. pl. in · tro · pies
    1. Symbol S For a closed thermodynamic system, a quantitative measure of the Amount of thermal energy not available to do work.
    2. A measure of the disorder or randomness in a closed system.
    3. A measure of the loss of information in a message Transmitted.
    4. The Tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve Toward a state of inert uniformity.
    5. Inevitable and steady deterioration of a system or society.

    I think we should take the # 2 definition to understand the intentions of Bluto.

    Is it a panacea, the Holy Grail?
    Of course not, you must still use your brain, but it is a great help to scan the market.

    It is a continuous stream of signals.
    We must learn to use them, but the site has many members who test and give you their discoveries, you are not alone.

    When I see the avalanche of "EAs" for $ 97, offers of signals between $ 99 and $ 600 per month or the "gurus" who offer their expertise with words of "cook" for a whopping + $ 5,000, I think Craig's offer is a bargain.
    You are a life member, so you have access to all developments, present and future.

    This is obviously only my opinion, and I have no compensation to write my comments.
    you are free to throw them!
    Good day to all.

    forexfx,

    The way it works right now is this - when you join FXAW, you get the Entropy Signal Client windows app. The app receives any new trade signals for all currency pairs and TFs M5 - D1 every five minutes. The signals come from FXAW servers. You trade these manual right now but in a week or so Bluto will release the MT4 EA bot that automatic trades the signals. Last, bluto will release a "fat client" version of Entropy that runs on your own pc and gets price feed from your own MT4 so you dont need to receive signals from FXAW servers unless you still want to. Manual trading the signals is really easy that even a pet monkey could do it. BUT - those signals are the grail. I swear by this. No indicator or method or ea or anything I have seen is this good at those signals. But - when you read on the forum how bluto processes the price data with neural nets and baysian quantum algos and all of the unusual stuff, its like nothing you have ever seen. Im an engineering Phd student and it makes my head spin. Well I hope that helps.

    My recommendation:

    I would recommend setting your risk at 2% per trade, Risk:Reward = 1:1, and use the nearest relevant high or low to calculate your SL, TP would be set at equal distance from entry point to SL.

    You will know before the green signal line is broken where your SL and TP are, so you will know what you are risking before you enter into the trade.

    *****

    I use stop orders for the entry setups, it saves me precious time from having to be glued to my screens, win ratio is approximately 70-80% accurate with this plan.

    I trade it across multiple pairs on M15 + M30 time frames, but I never enter into more than one trade at a time, which means, if I am in a EURUSD trade and a setup comes about on GBPUSD, I will wait for the completion of my active trade before I risk any more money.

    *****

    The suggestions for SL and TP from the indicator are fine for the beginning trader, however, the R:R ratio does not work for me. I will not trade anything that has a Risk:Reward ratio of less than 1:1.

    *****

    My trading plan:

    I personally prefer using the Risk:Reward ratio setups @ 1:3, use the nearest relevant high or low to calculate my SL, TP would be set @ 3x distance from entry point to SL.

    I am used to trading 1:3 setups. I am comfortable with these setups, as the mathematics in play require my winning ratio to be at a mere 25% to break even, WR @ 26%+ and I am in the clear zone.

    Example of R:R = 1:3, based on a total of 10 trades:

    25% Winning Ratio
    Losers = 7.5 trades x 1R = -7.5R
    Winners = 2.5 trades x 3R = +7.5R
    BREAK EVEN

    30% Winning Ratio
    Losers = 7 trades x 1R = -7R
    Winners = 3 trades x 3R = +9R
    +2R IN PROFIT, if 1R = 2%, then 2R = 4% PROFIT

    40% Winning Ratio
    Losers = 6 trades x 1R = -6R
    Winners = 4 trades x 3R = +12R
    +6R IN PROFIT, if 1R = 2%, then 6R = 12% PROFIT

    50% Winning Ratio
    Losers = 5 trades x 1R = -5R
    Winners = 5 trades x 3R = +15R
    +10R IN PROFIT, if 1R = 2%, then 10R = 20% PROFIT

    I think you get the idea =)

    This is my trading style, it works for me because I am comfortable with it.

    Before you go crazy and all out, try my recommendation of R:R = 1:1 on a demo account for sometime until you gain confidence. Continue on to demo trading 1:3R setups, and if and when you feel comfortable or become confident that this will work for you, that is when I would proceed on to the next step and start trading it on a live account.

    As always, I am here to help. I will not be able to comment on every reply or answer each and every question, but I will do my best to share information that will answer most of your questions and concerns. =)
