I am finding on one installation that LicEMU quickly takes up around 75% of CPU and then after a minute or so, completely maxes it out. It used to be for many months that on this installation (only) LicEMU used 75% (vs negligible usage on all others), but now it quickly goes to 100% CPU usage. This maxing out just started after many months of LicEMU using 75% on this one installation.

 

Stopping LicEMU does not cause the CPU usage to go back down, nor does exiting - have to kill the process in Task Manager->processes, after which CPU usage immediately drops to negligible levels.

 

Anyone have this experience/insights/solution?

for me instead of high CPU usage, i'm having high RAM usage . When my RAM consume more than 90% usage, i would personally close all my Chrome window and reopen. Then it would fix the issue. Hope it would give you some insight

Thhe Demo doesn't, but I assure you the real credentials do run.

i do agree, the AMP CQG DEMO seriously is rubbish, all data not tally at all, very harmful .

after successfully installed MC, i have subscribe for CQG demo data in amp futures website.

I managed to run multichart.net ( free trial ) from amp futures website with CQG demo data but not the Multichart educated version that i installed. is this normal or only can run with IQFEED data ? Can someone verify this. Thanks

Firts look if hosts file is in:

 

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc (for Win 32 bits)

 

and in 64 Bit W7 or higher, also to:

 

C:\windows\sysWOW64

 

Then if you have Win10 64 bits, the hosts file must be in these two folders.

 

Then next, write those line above (although it does not have importance where, below also work fine). Save changes. Restart your PC.

i did activate the " start " button when i follow the instruction, it's just a screenshot for showing purpose.

btw, i would like to seek more advice when to install multichart ? after active " start " button in LicEMU ?

Ok this is how I got it (candyman's files) to work with expired MC9. Some of what i did may be superfluous.

 

1) Copy the files to C:\licEMU directory. Run mc85.pfx and press next to everything EXCEPT for when it asks

for PW then enter 123 and then next for everything after.

 

2) Hosts file. I changed 8.7 to 8.8 using notepad to open then copied hosts file to

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and in 64 Bit W7 also to C:\windows\sysWOW64.

If you are already using the hosts file you copy the text lines below existing text.

 

3)Run Lic and press start- and then start MC and see green connection -

I left in evaluation mode rather than trying to enter registration name as could be specific- seems OK.

The username for registration is :

password: 123

 

This info is present inside the emulator exe. So there is no harm in using these details.

When i run the licEMU and click start, the multichart still showing trial expiry. ON top of that, i noticed that multichart still perform the same even i'm not running licEMU.

I have tried two different version of multichart and even manually change the original host file from " #multicharts 9.1 to #multicharts 11.0 " for testing purpose but still failed. I have attached two screenshot .

Would like to know anything i did wrong ? Please advice. Thanks
