Talking about reliability. Your entire server crashed for more than 5 hours until now. I have some open positions stuck in a few accounts which i have no way of accessing with the crazy euro crisis thing happening. This is the fourth of such event happening within the past 1.5 yrs of me trading with this company!! Stop blowing ur trumpet before u fix these f*ckups!! Even ur support cannot guarantee ur company will compensate for the losses caused by this ****** downtime! What a shame!!

I bet it's just a trade copier with reverse function and some instructional manual telling you where you can get **** EA's for free to reverse the trades.

I need help with a coding of a simple EA which can place pending orders with with the following rules and parameters:

- Magic number

- GMT adjustment

- Time adjustment to place orders

- Open Buy/Sell orders on (x) pips from previous closing price with adjustable TP and SL

- If one order is executed, the other pending order is deleted (on/off)

- Adjustment for pending order expiry time (on/off)

- Break even and trailing stop adjustment

- Lotsize adjustment

- MM adjustment

 

or a much simpler one:

 

- Input price to trigger buy order with adjustable TP/SL

- Input price to trigger sell order with adjustable TP/SL

- Trailing stop and BE adjustment

 

Some brokers have limited pip distances where you can open pending orders so is it possible to have the pending orders coded internally to the EA?

 

For example:

At 2:00 GMT+0, the last bar closed with price 1.61000

EA will execute buy at +20 pip from 1.61000

EA will execute sell at -20 pip from 1.6100

When price hits 1.61200, a buy will be triggered with 40 pip TP and 20 pip SL

sell will be ignored or deleted within the EA

 

The reason is because I was away from my computer most of the time and always miss important time/price to trade.

My settings remain unchanged. Same goes to my bad habit of closing the trades manually due to emotional factor.

Could've bagged in extra 1k+ pips if it wasn't for emotions. Will report back in 2 weeks - 1 month with updates.

V5 is still cranking in profits. You need to have enough equity and balls to sustain the DD.

Just thought of sharing my results after running V5 for 2 weeks on live account.

Did manually close some of the trades in profit due to emotional factor. Should have left them alone and the results would be way better.

muruku, what are your logics to trade during London open? The move is crazy and the market can sometimes go one way until closing.

this EA trades a minimum of 1 lot. Can any coders change it to trade micro lots?

I'd personally stay away from this EA. Backtested and crashed your account regardless the settings

Is this the Greatest Forex Robot? Did you buy it?

I see in the manual the stoploss is between 10-20 and TakeProfit between 4-7. That´s not in line with your settings...

 

The one which I'm testing wasnt the so called greatest robot. It was just some free scalper EA offered free at TSD forums. The s/l and take profit can be adjusted to perform the same as the "greatest robot".

 

I'm not saying that the "greatest robot" is a rip off but based on the free EA it's pretty much the same. The only difference is that the "greatest robot" could have been a modified version of the free EA.

This looks to me like the crazy aggressive scalper EA which was available for free @TSD forums. But with added modifications like s/l and others.

It went to 2k profit yesterday but I somehow forgot to switch it off when the trends changed so now back to 700 profits. Very good scalping EA but potentially dangerous

Only certain pairs are profitable and doesnt crash your account. Namely EURCHF, EURUSD, USDJPY and USDCHF
